The study highlights the significance of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) in enhancing employee performance and overall organizational success. SHRM involves various functions such as hiring efficient people, providing training and development programs, conducting performance appraisals, boosting morale, and compensating employees. These approaches have a positive impact on workforce performance in contemporary organizations with team, project, or matrix structures. The study also emphasizes the importance of creating a good and healthy working environment to boost employee engagement and commitment. Three approaches to SHRM, namely universalistic, contingency, and configurationally, were discussed as effective practices for HR departments in achieving organizational targets.
