INTRODUCTION
Plagiarism is term as process in which the work performed by the students with the help
of fraud information or data. Basically it is define as the type of academic fraud which is perform
by students that is they use already existing information to do their assignments. The report is
based on Academic Plagiarism and the topic covered in the report is relevance to professionalism
in a business environment (Cronan, Mullins and Douglas, 2018).
MAIN BODY
Academic plagiarism take place when the student repeatedly use the information from
various printed sources in order to complete their task. The proper way to reduce or avoid
plagiarism is to learn the various concepts insight of copying them form other available sources.
The learning habit form the beginning helps in achievement of desire goals and objectives
(Sureda-Negre, Comas-Forgas and Oliver-Trobat, 2015. ). Moreover it helps in development
and enhancement of skills and knowledge among students. There are various type of plagiarism
which are explained below-
Verbatim quotation- It is a type of plagiarism practice in which students uses the either
quotation and copy the full referencing of the sources. In this type of work it is quite easy for
reader to identify the part which is copied and which is written by the student.
Use of internet- This is a type of plagiarism activity in which students are considering
internet as the source and simply without clear acknowledgement they are cut copy pasting the
required context. As all the information available on the internet is truly correct so before using
that one should check it .
Paraphrasing- It is also a type of plagiarism activity in which just by changing the words
or just by changing its order the work is been performed by the students.
Direct Plagiarism- It is a type of plagiarism in which everything that is word to word is
been copied by the writer without putting their own efforts.
Self Plagiarism- It is a very common type of plagiarism activity in which student submits
their previous related work with little changes in order to complete their work.
Mosaic Plagiarism- It is a type of plagiarism in which students do not use quotation
marks or appropriate marks while using the structure of source and it is also known as patch
writing.
Accidental Plagiarism- It is type of plagiarism activity in which student didn’t mention
about the source even though by using the simple words or structures. It’s important for students
to learn how to cite their sources and how to do effective research.
