Introduction
The Employment relationship can be defined as a relationship that is shared between
employer and employee . This is done by utilizing the four pillars that comprises of
Open Communication, showing gratitude, Providing feedback at every stage and
investing in the employee's. It is essential for employers to create and sustain healthy
relationship. Lidl, is engaged supermarket chain and is at the third position in
Netherlands with approximately 400 stores. Worldwide, they are at fourth position and
is present in 30 countries.

Practical And Legal Challenges In
Employment Relationship
• Hours & Wages laws: This is most basic and common issue based by the company.
This is the primary reason that encourages employee's to improve their productivity
and efficiency.
• Health and Safety laws: The individuals remain well inform of the updated health
care and safety laws in order to be able to get it's benefits. The issues related to their
work safety, Health and Safety laws arises due to its non- compliance.
• Discrimination Laws: The discrimination based on their race, religion, sex,colours ,
physical or even mental disability.
