INTRODUCTION
Assessment means the act of assessing something. The Report will outline whether
assisted dying is to be legal, meaning of globalization, evaluating effectiveness of CSR and
should business ban the box.
Should assisted dying be legal ?
The term assisted dying includes both voluntary euthanasia and physician assisted suicide
and the current version of the bill is only related with physician assisted suicide. Arguments
supporting assisted dying suggests that even with good palliative care, there are still those
patients who make a request to medical professionals for euthanasia. Some people believe that,
people have right to choose when to die. Supporters of law of euthanasia believes that,
permitting patients to die with dignity is kinder as compared with forcing them to live their life
with the suffering of disease. Moreover, some people believe that assisted dying can be safely
regulated by the legislations of the government. Modern palliative care helps to reduce the level
of terminal suffering but it not always provides complete relief of distressing symptoms.
Therefore, patients requests for assisted deaths are more prevalent (Dyer, 2016).
The arguments against assisted dying is that alternative treatments such as hospices and
palliative care are also available to the patients. Therefore, there is no need to kill the patient to
kill the symptoms. Further, all types of pain can be relieved. Furthermore, it is believed that,
people cannot truly control it (Dyer, White and Rada, 2015).
Explaining globalisation
Globalisation refers to the process of integration among the people, government and
companies across the world. It is been counted as the form of the capitalist expansion that entails
an integration of the national and the local economies within a global and non-regulated market
economy (Potrafke, 2015). With the changing world, it has been grown because of the advances
in the communication and the transportation technology. Along with an increased level of global
interactions, growth of the international trade, culture and ideas is been reflected. Primarily it is
been considered as an economic process of an integration and an interaction that is attached with
the social and the cultural aspect. Moreover, globalisation means spread of the products,
information, technology and the jobs across different cultures and the national borders. In terms
of economic aspect, it mainly describes interdependence of the nations worldwide that has been
fostered through the free trade (Perraton, 2019). Globalisation helps in raising living standard in
