Introduction
Canada legalized the bill C-14 which is euthanasia for humans in the
year 2016 (Daly, 2017). In its voluntary form, is referred to as medical
assistance in dying. Medical assisted suicide also became legal at the
same time in order to end the sufferings of an adult who is terminally
ill.

Challenges towards a personal
morale
There are multiple ways in which “medical assistance in dying” can
affect the morale of a person which is why many people argue
against the “mercy killing”.
A person may lead to think that euthanasia can cause the
determination that the life of one person is worth more than another
or vice-versa (Mishara & Weisstub, 2015).
Many people who are religious are also against euthanasia which
according to them is against the will and the word of God.
