safety legislation, policies and procedures are:
Managing and responding to hazards and risk such as falls and trips, hazardous

Supporting classroom safety for yourself and others that involves mental as well as
physical safety.

The office of the Public Guardian (OPG) is responsible for protecting the rights of vulnerable adults
who are not capable of making decision and children as well as young people in out-out-of home

Brief
This factsheet is aimed to be utilized for the new joinees as teaching Assistants. The fact sheet
covers many of key responsibilities and the requirements of the role of teaching assistants. The
factsheet includes the roles and the responsibilities of the role together with the attributes that is
needed towards the support of the educational activities and the assisting of the students for the
achievement of positive learning outcomes. This fact sheet includes the procedures and the polices
