Executive summary of the report
This report depicts the positive impact, roles and responsibilities of project management practices while
implementing any large size project is Australia. The report that has been nominated on which a critical
review will be conducted understands the role of team building in the context of large projects in
Australia. In this paper adjacent identification of all success factors are being identified and
demonstrated as well. It has been defined that, due to lack of operational and functional efficiency many
large projects in Melbourne, Australia are getting negatively impacted.
Proposed research topic
The topic that has been nominated for the research work is role of team building for managing large
projects in Australia.
The success factors that will help the associates to meet project objectives include involvement of the
stakeholders, planning processes and building projects.

According to Jayasuriya (2017), the success and failure of any project is dependent on the way through
which the levels of stakeholders are evaluated throughout the project development life cycle period.
The main purpose of the paper is to examine the involvement of stakeholders and its impact during the
project planning. It also has a strong impact on organizations survival. Therefore, it can be said that
involvement of project team and stakeholders are much essential for project success.
[3] Aims, research questions & Research Methods
The aim of the research is to identify the current level of stakeholders in project process and project
progress. In order to deliver construction projects stakeholders involvement are much essential If this
introduction is not done then it would cause major complexity while conducting the construction
projects. Therefore, in order to reduce the rate of complexity it is much essential to develop
comprehensive stakeholder management plan.
A sample size of 21 numbers of developers or owners and 25 project management companies are
considered for collecting primary data and to conduct the research work.
Primary research approach or data collection method is conducted to gather and analyze information
regarding stakeholder’s involvement and team building in project success.

In order to design and develop stakeholder involvement plan the researchers are required to follow

some phases consecutively in terms of
Involvement level in “EP phase”
Involvement level in “IS phase”
Involvement level in “DPI phase”
Involvement level in “DP2 phase”
Involvement level in “CO phase”
[5] Usefulness
This research study concludes that successes of the construction projects are dependent on level of
stakeholder’s involvement in the projects. It is also determined that it is not roles of the contractors and
designers to establish key objective, scope and goals but it is role of the project stakeholders. Jayasuriya
(2017) stated that, if the stakeholder involvement plans in terms of team building are considered in large
construction projects in Australia then, the objectives of the project would meet in a much easier way.
[6] Limitations
This research accomplishes the roles and involvement of stakeholders and team building in Australian
construction project success. However, what are the risks that may impact the project are not identified
and no broader contexts are being considered.
[7] Conclusions
From the analysis it can be concluded that, this particular research study evaluates different levels of
Stakeholder’s involvement in Australian construction project success. Potential roles and responsibilities
of the project managers and other stakeholders involved are evaluated in this paper. The functional and
operational complexity of the project can also be reduced with SI. The research outcomes give a further
development framework to the project stakeholders to improve the project.

international ranking of the journal is not yet identified. It has been identified that the journal does not

high.
