Section 1: Plan and assess critical thinking
1. Research critical and creative thinking. Write a report (approximately two pages) including:
a summary of at least three models of critical and creative thinking
at least five characteristics of critical and creative thinking
features of critical thinking skills such as analysis, synthesis and evaluation
formal and informal organisational learning environments and systems (at least two each)
best practice approaches for instructing teams and individuals in critical thinking (at least three)
examples of how the critical thinking can be applied in the workplace (at least two)
list of what a safe critical and creative work environment includes (at least two).
Make sure you access at least four sources of information, reference them correctly and attach your report to
this section of the portfolio.
2. Assess critical thinking
About the organisation
Provide an overview of your
chosen organisation and
product/services/programs.
Include: name of the business description of what the
business does
key operational processes.
I’ve chosen the organisation “WORLDUCATION”. It is a social start-up
organization that deals with distribution and manufacturing of tablet PC for
the students and teacher of primary schools.
They not only concentrated on the hardware, but also on the development of
software, activities and content that will more effectively engage and teach
kids in primary school.
Critical thinking within the
organisation
Identify how critical thinking is
an important part of the
organisation.
Include: how critical thinking is a
part of the business, such
as:
o the vision and
objectives of the
organisation
o assessment of the
work environment as
it relates to critical
and creative thinking,
Employees who are able to think critically in the workplace are more likely
to come up with effective solutions to problems, which in turn leads to fewer
mistakes and more efficient use of resources. Team members that use
critical thinking are more likely to draw effective connections between
concepts, detect problems and contradictions, and arrive at sound
conclusions.
With the help of AI technology that tracks and responds to each student's
individual performance and requirements, Worlducation intends to
revolutionise traditional classroom instruction. We at Worlducation believe
that a world without illiteracy may be achieved when all children are taught
to read and write. Because of this, we give back to the education community
by donating and training teachers in underprivileged classrooms throughout
the world for every classroom that purchases our product. We then link the
classes together to foster development and cooperation among students as
they progress through their education.
Their vision is to see the world without illiteracy.

Teamwork
Plan for teamwork, including: what the diverse
requirements are of your
team (e.g. cultural
differences) how you will establish
connections and
understanding (e.g. ice-

techniques you’ll use to
negotiate, influence and
elicit the views of your
team.
Team members will be appreciated working with others who have different
perspectives and experiences than themselves. Realizing that outstanding
talent is blind to factors like colour, ethnicity, gender, religion, and
socioeconomic status is essential to building diverse teams at work.
Making connections isn't a manipulative strategy. We need to distribute the
available means. Our leadership network will expand as we share and get
access to useful information, services, and other opportunities.
We will put our influence to good use. We need to use our words
effectively.
We can acquire the skills necessary to deal with tense situations.

We can introduce formal staff training programmes. It was once considered
a "nice to do" activity; however, now firms are forming training teams and
focusing on fostering a learning culture as essential components of their
company strategies. When we consider all the advantages, it is not hard to
understand why this is the case.
This will help the team in formalizing employee training systems that
comes with a wealth of benefits, one of the most impacting of which is its
influence on employee performance. There are a multitude of other benefits
that come along with formalising employee training. The establishment of
goals, the provision of advice on the most effective practises, and the
provision of the tools necessary for employees to excel in their roles are all
made possible by the implementation of a formal learning programme.
These opportunities will serve as a guide for doing regular business. We
can guarantee adherence to rules and regulations, provide direction for
making decisions, and enhance efficiency within an organisation. Yet,
organisational policies and procedures are useless if they aren't followed by
staff members.
This will help in clarifying the vision and boost confidence among
company members.
I will collect via creating a short questionnaire and a formal discusiiion of
