INTRODUCTIONHealth and safety are the two main and important aspects that needs to be maintained in thelife of an individual and society. It helps in maintaining the well-being level of the country andhence reduces the total death ratio. Heath care sectors are working in this field and ensuring thatthrough their services they can bring development in the well-being condition of the society.NHS is one of the most leading organisation in the hospitality industry which is known for itsquality health related services (Carayon, 2016). It was incorporated in 1983 and since than thehuman resource of this organisation are delivering their services towards development of well-being. The following report will discuss the system that are followed in the referred organisationalong with the legislations against the same. Contribution of distinct care takers will also bediscussed which will help in understanding this section more.TASK 11.1 Systems, policies and procedures used for communication at health and safety workplaceWell being is indispensable for every individual in order to live their life morecomfortably without facing any health issues. It means, entire society wanted to surrounded withsafe and secure environment for protecting their life from dangerous diseases, accidents andvarious other things. For example; a UK family is arranging all the necessary facilities at theirhome and head of the family is trying to arrange indispensable services for their children's byacquiring more or more revenue. It means, family head is liable to facilitate their loved ones aswell as provide secure surrounding in order to prevent them from dangerous attacks (Clougherty,Souza and Cullen, 2010). Thus, legal bodies of a nation is responsible to design variousnecessary laws, norms, policies and strategies to overall society for protecting them from healthhazards. Basically, their main objective is to facilitate overall European people with severaluseful laws or norms in order to create a nation free from any dangerous accidents,discrimination, safety issues and so on. Therefore, few of the necessary policies which must befollowed by various social care organization are describing as follows:- Health and safety at work act 1974:- As per this act it has been assessed thatorganization which are engaged in offering social services needs to implement variousprotection strategies in order to defend employees performing at workplace. Thus, staffmembers needs to cooperate with each other while serving clients. 1

Health and safety regulations 1981 :- Legitimate bodies of a nation is worrying aboutthe safety of employees because all the business activities are managed and regulated bythem only (Cooper and Quick, 2017). Therefore, as per this law, managers of anorganization is liable to provide necessary services to several workers performing atworkplace at the time of need. As a result it aids them in overcoming health barrierswhile accomplishing their job role. 1.2 & M3 Responsibilities requires at specific health or social care workplace for managementEmployees performing at various health care organization are liable with various rolesand obligation such as; management of essential tools required during serving clients, caring ofpatients, encouragement of service users and so on. However, NHS is one of the famousorganization for securing health of various needy people in order to create a environment freefrom injury or accidents. Basically, these social service organization are run by government aswell as some are non-governmental association which is not controlled by advisory bodies. Butobjective of every health care enterprises is to reduce the problems faced by society and trying tobuild a secure community. Hence, it has been analysed that some of the essential responsibilitiesof health and safety organization are explained below:- Policies for health and safety:- An association need to implement various useful policiesor strategies to prevent entire staff members as well as consumers whomsoever areacquiring service. Basically, main reason behind designing strategies to assist employeeswith their necessary jobs or duties and helps in motivating them towards their personal orprofessional objectives. First aid:- According to this duty, service provider needs to prepare with immediatefacilities for requisite people such as; instant injury, accidents, attacks hence forth.Moreover, this facility is very much essential in order to provide instant service andsometime safeguard the life of individuals (Edelman, Mandle and Kudzma, 2013) Risk assessment:- NHS or any other organization involved in offering social serviceneeds to assess the visible or invisible risk in order to take necessary steps or initiativebefore it may happen. However, analysis of uncertainty aids in controlling complexsituation in much better way. Thus, above obligations are necessary to follow by organization involved in servingclients with health or safety services. 2
