INTRODUCTIONHealth and safety is the major concern which needs to be maintained by the healthcare toreduce the chances of hazard and safety concern (Paterson, 2017). It is an essential part ofservices for which both management as well as worker of healthcare department are accountableto address within healthcare services. For the better understanding of report National HealthService (NHS) company has been selected whose headquarter is in United Kingdom and providethe services like emergency care as as well as dentist facility at minimal amount. This reportcover following topics such as health and safety legislation in health and social care workplace.Moreover, impact of health and safety requirement on customer within the workplace. Further,monitor and review health and safety within health and social care workplace.TASK 11.1: Review systems, policies and procedures for communicating information with legislativerequirementsEffective communication is a vital part of heath and social care workplace which needs tobe maintained significantly. The system, policies as well as procedure act as a legal frameworkwhich helps to conducting effective communication. In related to NHS needs to preview itssystem and procedure regularly in order to communication properly. Hence, these system,policies and procedure are determined below:Vertical procedure: It is top to down procedure where information fall in a hierarchicalway like from top management to middle management and finally passes to low managementlevel. Within NHS such procedure can be used to make the people understand regarding safetyprocedure. For instance, as per Heath and safety act 1974 heath and social care organisationreview the policies and communicate it with employee to make them aware as per the act orlegislation. Horizontal procedure: Here the communication flow within the same department(Lennard and et. al., 2016). This producer can be used by NHS to maintain the standard of rulesand minimise the chances of incidents within workplace.
