INTRODUCTION Career is the goal of individual which helps him in satisfying their needs and wants. For aiming the good career every individual has to conduct both primary and secondary research so that it is easy fro them to analysis their pros and cons. Research can be done by collecting the several skills and review them that they are coming under their ability to achieve it or not(Acker and Webber, 2017). This report has discussed about the career research and I chooses Marketing Manger in the retail sector industry in United Kingdom as my career objective. I have analysed this position is best for me because the skills which are required in attaining this position is founded in myself which makes me different from opponents. Retail sector industry means an industry which plays an major role in filling the gap between wholesalers and customers. These industry works to provide goods and services to the end of users. These includes grocery stores, departmental stores, electronics and other companies. They have the wide range of products. With the enhancement of technology nowadays these industries provide online platform so that customers can easily reach to organisations. There are many organisation which are doing the same work. This sector contributes the major role in the growth of the economy. Analysis and Application Several Trends which are impacting on the retail sector industry. The main question is how the producers provide their goods to ultimate consumers. For satisfying this question the role of Retailers comes in the picture. Sometimes retails buy finished goods directly from the producers. Generally, they buy it from the wholesalers. They plays a role of a middle man in delivering the finished goods to customers(Ali, Brown and Loh, 2017). Marketing Manager has a wide scope of getting the job opportunities because it is required in every department. There are several trends which has an impact on this sector of industry in Tesco which is explained as follows:ï‚·Online store in Offline space:With the changing in the technology many stores are opening their access on remoteness of area(Ashcroft, Blatti and Jaramillo, 2020). There are many organisations which deal with the online and offline stores both.ï‚·Social Commerce:Due to this COVID-19 the customers use to hesitate in doing physical shopping for which they are opened the online platform for providing their services. This helps in eliminating the contact between individuals.
ï‚·Employment opportunities:The alteration in the technologies and the demands of the customers helps in increasing the hiring of the employment(Lombardi and et. al., 2017). This helps in satisfying the needs of the customers in more efficient way. ï‚·Physical to digital world:with the changing in the technology customers use to demand the digital access to their stores. Which helps in access to their industry in very easy way. From the above changing scenario the need of more employment in retailing industry which helps the sector to growth in the pandemic situation(Maree, 2020). Tesco also offers the online platform so that the customers can avail theirproducts and services which leads to high amount of profits. Skills, Knowledge and experience required. For attaining the job as a Marketing Manager in the retail sector industry, there are various skills and knowledge are required to work effectively and helps in attaining the common goals of the organisation(Shuck and et. al., 2018). There are some skills which are required those are as follows:ï‚·Able to find out the the needs of the buyer and the process to full fill that:For being a marketing manager, it is signification for the individual to find out the needs and wants of customers so that it will be easy fro them to identify the process which helps in selling the products of the organisation(Ray, Bala and Dasgupta, 2019).ï‚·They must have good communication skills:The manager must have an good skills of communication so that it will be easy for them to motivate their customers towards the products and services. They must use simple and clear words so that it will reduce the amount of complications and misunderstanding. This helps them in using the information in the right manner.ï‚·Basic technologies skills:They must have the knowledge of basic use of technologies so that it will be easy for them in executing their targets(Hansen, Jackson and Pedersen, 2017).They must contain the basic knowledge about the social cultureso that will he helpful for them in achieving the demands of their customers this can be done by using the right tools of online platforms.ï‚·Problem solving skills:the managers must have a positive things towards the problems so that it will be easy for them to achieve solutions of customers as well as other subordinates problems.

The reason behind choosing the marketing manager as a profession is that I have many skills which are required in fulling the criteria of this profile. The above mention requirement of marketing manager profile is with me, as I am positive thinker which helps in solving the problems of customers and fellow staff in the organisation. I am having a good knowledge of trending digital platforms which helps me in identify the needs and wants or customers and also helps in analysing the current trends of the market. I am the best skilled person for the post of marketing executive as I have all required skills and knowledge of the things which will be helpful for attaining the targets of the organisation. I choose retail sector of industry because it is the sector which is on the peak at this time. They deal with many kinds of products, so as the role of marketing manager, it will be easy for me to promote their products and services for enhancement in the growth of the organisation(Elley-Brown, Pringle and Harris, 2018). This helps in achieving the objective of the company as well as the growth of me. With the convening
power it will be easy fro me to sell and motivate to buy the products and services. My skills are sufficient in order to complete the whole operations of the company.
