waste was produced in excess and needs to be controlled. Opinions of stakeholders were
analyzed from every aspects and result was obtained that is urgent need of initiating the steps
through which improvements in workplace can be carried out and sustainability can be
maintained.

the information you collected in Assessment Task 1, identify two improvements that
will increase your work team’s resource efficiency
On the basis of information acquired from meeting with consultants, resource measurements,
process maps and information collected from previous task, it is realized that there is need of
improving following two areas:
Resource usage: Excess use of vital resources needs to be reduced

produced from workplace needs to reduced.
By implementing above two improvements at workplace, team’s resource efficiency will be
increased.

4. Develop an implementation plan that sets out the actions you will use to implement,
monitor and evaluate changes. (This is an example of applying a ‘continuous
improvement’ approach to sustainability performance.) You may find it helpful to fill
out the implementation plan template attached.
Implementation plan provides the information about the actions that will be carried out to
monitor and evaluate changes.

5. Source one technique or tool that will help your work team achieve efficiency targets
(e.g. a trigger nozzle for reducing water use; recycling bins; a procedure for a new,
sustainable practice; an online resource; a monitoring checklist).
Recycling: In order to reduce the packaging waste, recycling technique needs to be implemented
so that efficiency targets can be achieved. Paper, plastic and aluminum can be recycled.
Recyclable and biodegradable packaging products can be purchased through which eco-friendly
products can be produced with limited waste. Instead of disposable options, long-lasting versions
can be selected. Through recycling technique, used product can be employed again for packaging
operations. By reduction of packaging waste, production money can be saved and self-reliable
environment can be developed.
6. Use the efficiency targets that you developed in Assessment Task 1 to develop targets
for your team.
Paper recycling: Encouraging team to use recyclable papers
Minimize water usage: Encourage team to close taps when not required and use glasses
for drinking water rather than bottles
Inventory management: Buy raw materials on demand only
Monitoring checklist: Maintain and monitor daily task checklist

7. Hold a meeting with your team to explain the changes that will be implemented and the
tool or technique you will be using to implement the changes. (This communication is a
form of applying a ‘change management’ technique.) For context, you may outline
common and energy efficiency issues within your industry. You may also outline
organisational systems and procedures such as supply chain, procurement and
purchasing, quality assurance and making recommendations and seeking approvals.
Take notes during or after the meeting to submit to your assessor.

8. Measure and document the resource use (preferably using the same methods as in
Assessment Task 1 where possible) as changes are implemented for the duration
determined in your implementation plan, or as long as is required to determine changes
in resource use. You may want to use the environmental monitoring table provided.
