a)Which learning activity did you select? I selected activity of dream-time story taken out of my school library named as “The bat and the crocodile”. One of the major reason behind taking this dream-time story as to promote aboriginal cultural safety within the school environment in which I am working and also this learning activity has been conducted to promoting the culture within a school environment. b)Identify one community organisation or person (either internal or external) you have contacted for guidance to complete this task. Identify which channel of communication you used and justify your choice. Name of the organisation or person:For this learning activity, Ms Robyn Smallwood which is my colleague has been taken part being as aboriginal representative in the school and promote cultural belongs to this area. Explain why you selected your chosen method of communication and any considerations you made For this learning activity, I had chosen verbal/face to face communication to talk to the Ms. Robyn Smallwood who is the representative of aboriginal cultural environment safety. Major reason behind choosing this communication mode was to get relevant knowledge on given topic as this mode is best medium to motivate someone and to get motivated. The core purpose behind taking this method of communication so as to access easy sharing of an information between both of us and talking using face to face is motivating someone also to talk. I talked to representative of aboriginal cultural representative using this mode of communication and I realized that conversation was much good and responding to information what I was expecting. Also, my ability and response was expecting to be more effective to share information pro-actively. Moreover, I realized some changes such as eye contact which is need to be good. c)How did you prepare for this learning activity? Explain how you planned for the following: Student and time allocation as discussed with teacher: For this learning activity, students are needed to be focused and must have positive
discipline, so that they would learn much better and appropriately. For promotion of an aboriginal culture environment, I actually planned and grouped students on the basis of their ability, skills and talent such as they can learn effectively. Standard time allotted for this activity is one week which can be further stretched according to the involvement of students. A chart of one week is prepared by me which helps in dividing work within all four students. I have divided the time and allowed student to explore their learning, as because of chances of rising conflict among them. Resources: For this level of learning, resources such as books, google, newspaper and guidance of a teacher will be utilised. As a teacher, I took this dream-time story, personally it’s a choice by me and I am sure that student had taken productive learning about aboriginal culture environment safety in the school environment and has tried hard to give positive learning to the students. The learning environment: I planned for learning environment by understanding behaviour of an each and every student and after that tools, equipment and accessories required for creating perfect learning environment has been arranged by me. Even, I had evaluated entire learning environment by making chart of an environment for bringing effective learning on matter of aboriginal cultural safety environment in my workplace which is the school. Even I personally checked an entire environment for learning.
Barriers/additional needs identified and my strategies to overcome these: During learning process, barrier's such as lack of patience, focus and understanding are major barrier or challenges has been found in students. To overcome this, I had taken strategy such as gave student task which need patience and focus both so is to learn and equip more knowledge about aboriginal cultural safety environment which has been taught in the school workplace. I planned to overcome these barriers by pre developing contingent strategies so that all the issues can be resolved. d)Explain step by step how you implemented your learning activity with your student/s? a) I Identified an actual need for conducting this learning activity. b) I managed all the students which groups which are effective and ineffective to learn. c) Identify what to be learnt with students and what needed to be educate to students. d) Evaluation of learning barriers and strategies to overcome those barriers.

e)Describe how your student/s was involved? Or responded? All students were involved with their inside soul and full of dedication. I had realised their focus on reading the dream-time story loudly and I realised that pronunciation ability of them was far better and they were doing good. I am expecting from them to improve it further. f)i) Reflect on the learning activity. During the learning, all students were full of dedication and focus, but sometimes lack of patiencehasbeennoticedinthemwhichisthecriticalbarrierwhichhasalready overcomes. I realised that, they were involved with their all skills such as reading and writing. Still out of major barrier, they have carefully and progressively. ii) Identify the positives. I found various positives elements such as communication was good among all of the students plus all students have also gained certain valuable knowledge from this story “The bat and the crocodile” such as moral lesson for acting in a society. iii) Identify suggested changes for next time. I suggested my student to read more books and story so that they would realises real importance of the learning and learn more. Also, I also suggested them to go more in context of aboriginal cultural environment safety by reading more dream-time stories.
