camping, boating and rafting. In present economy, tourism industry is significantly expanding
and providing commendable opportunities to entrepreneurs for their startups. The present
study is based on preparation of proposal for new tourism business for the co-venture to
provide them assurance that they can earn sufficient returns.
BUSINESS IDEA
Start-up of tourism business requires many crucial steps such as market research,
developing plan and executing the same in ethical and legal manner. Our business Joyful
Travels provides day and night tours in various Australian cities, multiday trips and
adventurous tours like camping, tracking, beach games, boating and river rafting. So these are
following two ventures:

This service will be facilitated with other all necessary activities such as
accommodation, food, photography, travel and medi-care to consider all needs of customers.

registration and licensing which will oversees the industry of tourism, especially for the
industries who take visitors to sensitive areas and national parks.

sports. Tourism plans are budget friendly and the staff which we have is fully trained and
well aware of every bit of adventure sports. We think investing in us will be a very profitable
for investors as because of end to end services in this field will attract lots of customers
towards us and we will try our best to fulfill all their needs and demands. We will try our best
to provide proper return on investment as soon as possible. We also have plans to expand our
services in the field more and more so that the company can increase its customer base with
the increase of profits. We also have great plans to advertise our business by sponsoring
various sports and events in Australia so that people can know about us. Other than that we
are also creating different promotion plans to be launched on social media as it will help us to
attract our target customer which is youth.
We also justify the investment as the team which we are working with is fully
committed and will work very hard to reach all the goals and objective of the company. The
goal of the company is to make experience of people worth remembering so that they can use
the services again.

Present study provide learning of development of viable business ideas by considering
market opportunities. This module was highly beneficial and significant part of entire course
work as it was inclusive of key learnings such as market analysis, presenting business plan
and forming justified business strategies (Huyton, 2010). With this module, I was able to
understand mere idea is not sufficient to develop business as it cannot attract investors for
investment. It is because; ideas does not ensure success but a viable business plan does. Thus
in this assignment we had prepared proposal by considering tourism industry facts and
preferences of customers.
Other primary learning from this assignment is tactics needed to win trust of investors
as they are trusting us with their money. This learning is significant in practical life because
businesses have limited sources but they have to make optimum utilisation of these resources
to achieve expected aims and objectives (Pickering, 2013). Due to this factor, prior to
developing any business plan, we are required to consider market facts to determine trend and
