INTRODUCTION
In the modern era, it has been examined that in an organisation, managers have so many
responsibilities which are related to managing, coordinating, staffing, monitoring, etc. of
operational activities. Apart from this, a developing manager is also important for creating a
healthy environment of workstation by removing conflicts in between employer and employees.
Away from this, these managing supervisors also give training and development sessions to
employees so that they can enhance their skills and talents to become more effective at
workplace. Also, a developing manager can contribute their best for company by recruiting
qualified and talented candidates (Beratarrechea and et. al., 2014). An effective and responsible
management can easily hit their targets in specific period of time. This report includes difference
between two tour and travelling enterprises and these are Thomas Cook and Saga Travels. In
between of project, managing strategies of hotels like Clayton crown hotel and Frankie &
Benny's restaurant has also been indulge. Assignment, is also going to put light on many sort of
management styles and skills of managers aid in achieving goals and objectives. Lastly, project
will show a summarised own career development plan which will help in making decisions for
improvising career in terms of future.

1.1 Comparison of various management styles
A developing manager is the one who handles or manages all operational activities of an
organisation in both effective and efficient manner. It has been found that management has
various kinds of styles that managers adapt to make decisions in different situations. Apart from
this, managing supervisor pushes their subordinates or motivate them time to time so that they
can hit targets in both effective and efficient way. Also, managers are the one who recruit
applicants by which productivity and profitability of company can be increased(Cheung and et.
al., 2014). With the help of this, firm can enhance both; goodwill and brand image in the
marketplace. Various types of management styles are as follows:
System approach: Management uses this type of hypothesis to evaluate the factors of
markets by which profitability of Thomas Cook can be increased (Communication Process
Model: Understanding how to master the process of communication. 2016). In this, managers of

company divide work in between subordinates by which targets can get hit right on time. It
includes some features and these are mentioned beneath:

Democratic: A style, where management or leaders do not take decisions by their own.
Before making any sort of determination first they discuss with their team members and then
come to a conclusion which is related to decision making process. It helps both employer and
employee. Like, effective decision will improve productivity and profitability and on other hand,
employees will get motivated(Crawford, 2014). Also, management can enhance relationship in
between team members and etc.
