INTRODUCTION People culture is referred to the way people interact with each other and influence each other as well as make decisions together. People cultural is classified in three ways which are dependent, independent and interdependent. In the contemporary leadership is a leader who inspire employees and people to achieve the objective of organization. This report will study the crisis of Australia cricket case study and elaborate the leadership theories and their nature and importance as well as traits of leadership which helps in improve their leadership team. MAIN BODY Develop better leadership team and manage the situation which are face by the Australian cricket: Leadership is important in the cricket team but in the case study of Australian cricket is determined the lack of leadership so, the Australian cricket team need leadership skills and leadership qualities which are important to manage the teams and group of cricket. There are various qualities which must follow by the Australian cricket team. Self control:The Australian team captain has not the self-control because captain is doing unpredictable behaviour with the team so, captain have controlled themselves because self-control are important in the leadership and that can show the leader of the field. By the self-control captain can manage and handle the team easily without any misbehaviour and frustration. Cooperation:in the case study, there is the lack of cooperation in the leaders and team so, they should use cooperation qualities for the better development in the team and manage the situation. The good leader should understand the cooperative effort and influence to the team for playing in a team as well as play for each other (Bandura and Kavussanu, 2019). Leader or captain should include the players in the decision-making process which helps them in playing better and motivate them. Mastery of details:In the leader positions, a successful leader is also known as mastery of leader.In the Australian cricket case, there is lack of mastery details in the cricket team, so they should develop the mastery details in their team. In other words, it means that leaders and caption should know about their players and team members as well as
leader should know their roles and position in the cricket field and their opposition teams. In the cricket team, bowler and batter also know about their weaknesses and strength as well as their physical capabilities so, it can support team for playing better according their condition and situations. They help to know who plays and who doesn't. In that leadership theory, leader have high power position. Situational leadership:in this leadership approach, they are focus on the flexibility which helps in leaders to adapt the situation that can be need of followers and the demands of the teams. So, the Australian cricket team should follow the situational leaders for better development. Team follow the leaders in every situation as well as sometimes not willing to follow but this theory helps players to become inspire and motivated from the leaders. Compassion:in the compassion traits, A leader treat every team players as individual and influence them to perform well for the cricket team (Sriyakul, 2019). The lack of compassion bring team together for playing as well as lack of compassion are necessary to understand the talents of individual team player and require of each team member. Communication skills:Leader should have good communication skills for influence the team by speech and motivate them through their communication. A good leader know how to communicate with the team for motivate and inspire them for perform well. Making decisions:leader should take some decision which are not favour in some team membersand it is tough for the leader because they make decision on the basis of
compatible. They have to take decisions for cricket team on the fact and performance of team rather than the personal relationships and emotions. Selflessness:it is the most desire trait and characteristics of good leaders. In further aspects, selfishness is the sign of bad leader. A good leader always puts their team need before their own needs. A good captain always think about their the rather than own so, it can also help in influence the team and perform better for the team because they follow their captain and leader and inspire team members by the captain sacrifices. Creative environment:A good captain should able to create the good environment for the team which helps in influence and inspire them (Shahzad and Raja, 2020). A leader can develop or create the friendly ad familiar environment for the team because it helps in getting team together and achieve the result. Furthermore, if environment are not good between the team players and their would be conflicts and misunderstanding which could be result in failure and team leader or captain are responsible for that so, leader should create the good environment for influence player as well as bring out the creativity of their team players. Delegate the responsibilities:It is difficult to manage the team by single person so, caption should delegate their authority and responsibilities to other players which helps in motivate them as well as influence them for playing together in the team. The captain and leader should take responsibilities of delegate the powers and something happen in the cricket field. Respect:A good captain respect the all players which are plying in the cricket team is important because it also helps in influence them for playing better (Nikjoo, 2021). Respect can ease the conflicts and tension of team members and helps in develop the create trust as well as improve the efficiency in their performance and game. It shows the people culture and their leadership qualities which helps in influence the team player.
