The Clipper Bay is one of the most beautiful and beautiful places of natural bliss. This
place shows huge areas of development and growth. This is because of the fact that there is a
huge scope of developing this place for the betterment of the tourism department. It can be done
by making sure that the tourism department is giving a lot of boost to the local people who are
the inhabitants of this place. However, there are many ways by which the area can be developed.
One of these ways is the tourism and the hospitality business. This is mainly because of the
fact that the tourism business will be using all the possible resources that are available in and
around that place. This will also help the local people to get a steady and free flow of income.
Thus the development of the tourism industry will be very useful for the developing of the
place Clippers’ Bay. The most important person that I will speak with is the local Government.
This is mainly because of the fact that the area Clipper Bay is one of the areas that is having a
blend of good and the bad aspects. I will be making sure that the environment and the socio-
economic status of the place are not getting hampered. I will make sure that the place is getting
an overall improvement but at the same time, it has to be maintained that there is no harm being
caused (Edgell Sr, 2016).
The first important person that I will be contacting is the local governing body. This is
mainly because of the fact that the place Clipper’s Bay is not yet deciphered by the tourism
bodies. On the other hand in this modern 21st century, the hospitality business is running very
fast. They are trying to win over the tourists that are living far across the Globe (Amir et al.,
2015). I will be contacting the land and then land reforms officer in order to get detailed
information about the land texture and the fertility of the place. I will also be contacting with the
land management expert as this will help me to take up the sustainable development approach of
the pace in a proper way. I will also make sure that I am taking all the steps with the due

permission of the local Government (Farmaki et al., 2015). This will help me to make sure that
all the developments in the place are being done in accordance with the legal codes of conduct
existing in that place.

The theory of the comparative advantage will be applicable in this particular place.
This is mainly because of the fact that clipper's bay is a new and undiscovered place. Tourism is
about to be developed in this place for the very first time. Thus, it is for this reason that the
people living in the Clipper's Bay must be knowing about the kinds of expertise that are present
in the fest of the parts of the world and also in different other parts of Singapore. For an
instance, it is known from the given case study that Clipper’s Bay has some sorts of expertise like
the seafood and the fishing. At the same time, these are the resources that are not present in many
other parts of Singapore (Edgell Sr, 2016). Thus, it is for this reason that the people living in
other parts of Singapore will be having some other expertise.
Thus, in this case, Clipper's Bay has to see if it will be advantageous for them to go on
with the production of the seafood. They have to understand that there is a huge competition that

tourism company or the planners for the further investments. This money can be used by the

The sustainable approaches are one of the most essential steps that have to be taken in

area of opportunities for the people, There will be a large number of new SMEs and other
business that are being set up in this place. This will be very helpful in giving a boost to the
economic aspect of the organization. There is always a desire among the visitors to get a new

As Clipper’s Bay tourism is a very new place the visitors coming from the rest of the
world will naturally try to get a new and refreshing variety of products. The local people of that
place that is Clipper’s Bay will be getting a wide range of opportunities for exhibiting their skills
and talents. This can be done by putting up many new small scale business units that will be
selling the handmade products and the local products of Clipper’s Bay. As is evident that the

production setting up the local products will naturally be a very good option for them.

The tourism activities that are being developed in this place must be having a sustainable

in an eco-friendly manner. They must be made in such a way that they can use all the

The experts will have to make sure that they are providing proper training to the people

The potential economic advantages of developing tourism in this place are mainly because of the
following features-
The flat structure is always suitable for the construction of the roads and the railways. In
order to make sure those tourists can come to visit this place; the transportation system has to be
developed properly.
The socio cultural advantage is that with the arrival of the tourists from all the different
places of the world, they will be bringing along with them their own cultures and traditions. The
amalgamation of the cultures will be helping the tourism of the Clipper’s Bay to get a good
boost. However on the other hand, the disadvantage is that some of the tourists might be very
modern and might try to violate the rules and traditional norms of that place. This will naturally
not be well accepted by the people of Clipper’s Bay.
The Environmental advantage is that the sustainable development of the place will be
initiated with the development of tourism in this place. The tourism development wills us the eco
friendly products that will help in making the village much more cleanly. The Environmental
disadvantage mainly refers to the scenario that might develop if the tourists are not paying much
attention to the maintenance of the environment. The tourists can dump the garbage on open
field. This will pollute the environment.
The economic advantages will mainly be because of the fact that with the development
of tourism there will be a large inflow of the tourists from all over the world. Like the place,
Clipper's bay is richly adorned with the natural beauties and also with the seafood delicacies,

also be opening up in the place. The SMEs that will be opening up is the household handloom

Clipper’s Bay will be produced so that the tourists coming to visit the place can get a taste of the
brilliant and unique taste of the place. Apart from this, it is evident that the native or the local
people of the Clipper's bay are good at the fishing activities and also at preparing the seafood
delicacies. Thus this will be a very good way of giving a huge boost or motivation to the
economic aspects of the place.
The economic disadvantages can mainly be because of the illiteracy of the natives who
are the natives of that place. It is for this reason that it is evident from the case study that the
natives are mainly engrossed in the agro-based works like the fishing, farming, and others. Thus,
it is evident that they are not very well versed with the education or the basic knowledge that
they need to have for the development of the hotel and the hospitality activities.
This might initially be a burden as the economy cannot move forward unless the visitors
are coming to visit the place in large amounts. In order to attract the tourists the native people of
the place, Clipper's Bay have to be properly trained. This training will naturally require a huge
amount of capital. Thus, it can be seen as an economic disadvantage. There is also a question
regarding the amount of profitability that they will be receiving after starting with their tourism
business. As there are already a large number of competitors existing in the market, there is a
doubt regarding the fact that whether visitors will be liking that place or not. This can also
