Introduction
In short Virtual teamwork is defined as a team of people who work together across
various geographical locations with mainly depended on communication technology such as
voice or video conferencing services, FAX and many more. With the emerging world of
globalization and decentralization, many enterprises felt it necessary to adapt something new
which results in agile and quick in interpreting any problems, in that virtual team present
flexibility besides fast results.
Thesis Statement
What are the benefits of the creation of virtual marketing team work?
Main context
It is advised to the Marketing Director of XYZ Company to establish the virtual
marketing team with staffs located in Loss Angles, Melbourne, Bangalore, and Shanghai which
will benefit the company to hire and retain the best workers regardless of location. It helps the
company to work with complementary skills for committing a common marketing purpose (Ziek
and Anderson, 2015). Furthermore, it helps the company to work firstly with flexibility due to
the workers have interdependent performance goals and also share a common approach to
perform any work for which they grasp themselves mutually accountable.
The furthermore advantages that the company will face due to the adaptation of virtual
teamwork are following discussed. It helps the company to increase their employee’s
productivity that means the company can overview the work performance of different places
located workers at a time which ultimately in improving work performance of the company. In
support of this argument proper evidence is, in the Cisco’s survey it is seen that out of 2000
employees, 69% of the workers noted higher productivity, while 75% of the workers pointed
improvement in the timelines of their work within the company due to the implementation of
virtual teamwork (Zagelmeyer et al., 2018). The company will also be benefited by the wide
availability of talent due to reducing of stress level. This means the company will not be bounded
by one geographical place to look for talented skills within the workers regarding manage any
crucial marketing issue or to enhance marketing performance globally that results in dividing the
work pressure. To support this statement, in an experiment it is seen that 82% of the workers
