Picoso is a restaurant and it islocated in the area called Sunshine Coast. It has performed SWOT analysis and review on theiroperations. Out of the results of those analysis, they had found that they need to add an additionalfeature for ordering the food through mobile application and home delivery. They have website formaking orders but they want to launch the mobile application which is found to be more efficient. As we are the NMC consultancy, the restaurant needs help from us to address the few topics in thisreport which are the benefits of a mobile application over web based applications, work breakdownstructure and then the recommendations to the company by considering the responses of thecustomers on in house development.2.Benefits of the mobile application over a web based order entry systemIn any of the business which is based on the order management system and rely on onlineservices, then it is very efficient to use the mobile application for their operations than the webbased entry system for ordering. This method of the integration and deployment of a order throughmobile application to the user's mobile devices improves the order management system. Thebenefits of using the mobile application over the web based entry system are listed below(Oupraxay, Wyne and Olson, 2010).Fast Entry of ordersThe catalog or menu of the restaurant can be viewed easily, so that the order becomes veryfast in the mobile application than the web based order entry system (Han et al., 2014).Usage at any placeThe users may want food at anywhere where they accomodate, so if the order can be placedthrough the mobile order entry then it is easy to order food anywhere and at anytime when theyneed. This results in higher amount of efficiency, makes them to order food often and this leads toperform a modern order management than any traditional order entry which contains somebottlenecks (Phan, Montanari and Zerfos, 2012).Customer SatisfactionAnother great feature that can be provided in the application of the food order is the ordertracking system. The customer after ordering the food through the mobile application, he will searchfor reaching time of the food. So this makes good results in the satisfaction of the customers.Ordering and home delivery provides an easy way during the busy days (Phan, Montanari andZerfos, 2012).
