INTRODUCTION
Organization culture is all about the expectations, experience and philosophy that guide
employees how to behave within a company. This cause direct impact upon the employee
performance and that is why, management of the company focused upon OC. Also, performance
is the degree of an achievement to which an employee is fulfill the organizational mission at a
workplace. So, workers continue their work only they get positive working environment and a
degree of achievement of a particular target which define the boundaries of a performance.
Similarly, the present study is based upon Morrison, one of the top supermarkets within UK and
has a brand image at global level. In the present scenario, due to pandemic entire organizations
suffer due to low employee performance, as companies provide remote working facilities that
affect overall productivity of employees (Warrick, 2017). Therefore, it can be stated that the
culture of a firm set expectation for how people behave and work in a team in order to meet the
defined aim and objectives of a business. Further, it highlights the relationship between the
organization culture and employee performance within a business. The entire research will be
based upon secondary research and determine the ways through which Morrison improve the
employee performance.
Rationale: The reason for conducting study on this particular topic is to determine the impact of
OC upon employee performance and this is recognized as an issue. It is so because management
team focused upon organization culture because if they provide positive working environment,
then they improve the working performance. That is why, through secondary sources, study
could shed a light upon the organization culture and employee performance.
Aim and objectives
Aim: The aim of the study is to determine the impact of organizational culture (OC) on
Morrison’s employee performance
Objectives:
To understand the concept of organisation culture and the model related to OC.
To assess different ways used by Morrison through which organisational culture
developed at workplace.

To examine the relationship between organisational culture and employee performance.
To recommend the effectual strategies for Morrison to improve the employee
performance.
The objectives of the study will be met by using effective resources which will identify the
concept of organization culture. Moreover, researcher avoids to collect data from irrelevant
source because it will take time and did not provide accurate information. That is why, to meet
the defined objectives, it is suggested to create timeline in which date of each task will be
mentioned along with end date. This in turn helps to meet the defined objectives of a study. As
the present study main aim is to determine the impact of organization culture upon employee
performance and that is why, investigator uses relevant sources published after 2017 because it
provide fresh information in order to meet the defined aim as well as objectives.
