Overview
This workplace project will require you to develop policies and procedures relevant to
recruitment, selection, and induction within the organisation. The project is divided into three (3)
parts:
I. Develop Recruitment, Selection and Induction Policies
II. Recruit and Select Staff
III. Manage Staff Induction
Completing this Project in the Workplace
This project must be completed using the simulated Bounce Fitness.
You must conduct your project assessment in an environment where
conditions are typical of those experienced in a workplace. The environment
must provide you access to all the resources outlined above.
The documents you will require can be found on the Bounce Fitness website.
You may need to conduct further research.

Part I. Develop Recruitment, Selection and Induction Policies
Overview
This part of the project will require you to develop recruitment, selection, and induction policies
in bounce fitness, specifically:
Analyse bounce fitness’s strategic and operational plans and policies to identify
relevant policies and objectives
Develop recruitment, selection and induction policies and procedures and supporting
documents
Review options for technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment
and selection process
Obtain support for policies and procedures from senior managers
Trial forms and documents supporting policies and procedures and make necessary
adjustments
Communicate policies and procedures to relevant staff and provide training if required
Resources Required:
You need to access to the following:
Workplace documentation including:
o At least two (2) strategic plans*
o At least two (2) operational plans*
o Two (2) strategic policies, with each policy corresponding to each of the
strategic plans
o Two (2) operational policies, with each policy corresponding to each of the
operational plans
*The strategic and operational plans may either include the plans from the year
past and the year ahead, or plans from the current year if the organisation uses
a bi-annual plan.
