INTRODUCTION
Change management refers to different methods and ways in which a company
determines as well as implements change within their organisation both in context with internal
as well as external processes. In relation to change management the most important element is

effective communication. Mainly there are three levels of change management which is in
relation with individual change management, organisational change management and enterprise
change management(Chan And et. al., 2017). The main purpose behind change management is to
effectively implement all methods in order to help all employees to accept those changes. The
below report includes change management objectives, certain communication activities, various
recommendations been done in context to improve communication.

Objectives:-
 To analyse the impact of change management in the organisation
 To implement effective communication activities
 To identify different risks associated with change management
Activities conducted:-
There are different communication activities been associated with change management
and it is been explained as below:- Face to face communication:- It is an oral form of communication in which both parties
can see each other while been involved in the conversation. It leads to better form of
communication as both parties can access the facial expressions. This type of
communication can happen in context with team meetings or conferences. The companies
can organise team building activities also. Weekly staff meeting:- It is a type of communication in which whole team meet at a
specific date and time as in terms of a get together. It is an important communication
activity because if any risk is associated that may arise in future then all people can
discuss about it. In terms of Samson media also they also implement weekly meetings as
they were in the situation of change management so to deal with those changes they were
use to discuss it together. Newsletter updates:- In case of newsletter it is an electronic report in which all updates
regarding the organisation are been shared through employee emails. As in context with
change management, so if any kind of changes that an organisation is going to implement
then they forward it through newsletter. As in terms of Samson media they also use this

communication activity as many changes were been implemented so all updates
regarding it were given through staff emails.
Staff survey results:-
 From the above information it has been analysed that there are around 3012 respondents
and among them 64.8% of employees are satisfied with their work but in some situations
they are not satisfied with their work. In terms of organisation, as it was been evaluated
that employees are satisfied with the changes been incurred in the organisation. In most
of the organisations when any change gets implemented in the organisation many risks
gets associated with it but in context with Samson media it was determined that in most
of the situations employees were happy with their work(Herbes and et.al., 2017).
 In terms of doing evaluation it was seen that in Samson media employees always remain
happy and company was at a good position. The company initiated many changes in their
organisation as they used different type of communication activities like the usage of
newsletters and weekly staff meetings so if any update in relation to organisation and the
changes associated with it, employees got all information in timely manner. Samson
media has always been in the positive situation and it all happened because employees
were satisfied. In an organisation employee satisfaction is the most necessary thing in

order to achieve success so as in case of organisation also they were leading to growth.
As per the experience of staff of organisation they were looking forward to accept all
changes in an excited way as they felt that they were been motivated by such changes.
Some people experienced a lot of different things while accepting those changes but
almost all of them gave a positive feedback.
Recommendations:-
 It is been recommended that in order to improve communication organisation should
implement certain fun activities so that employees get to communicate with each other
and forget all conflicts behind.
 It is recommended that organisation should use the form of casual presentation so that
employees get comfortable while communicating with each other. Casual presentation
does not mean that been in an unprofessional situation. It basically means that managers
should communicate with each individual in a casual manner so that they feel
comfortable.
 It is also recommended that to improve communication in the organisation face to face
conversation should always be used so that employees get to know each other more and
while doing any meetings or any discussion instead of just giving own opinions they must
listen to others also.
Change management plan refers to all kind of activities as well as roles in order to
manage This kind of plan is required to ensure that all changes that has been applied in the
organisation are defined in the right manner and to deal with that all necessary actions are been
applied in the right manner. In terms of Samsons media, it is important that all plans are been

used in accordance with changes that are in relation with performance as it will help in
enhancing the performance level of all employees.
Change management plan
Samsons media requires change management plan as it is now facing certain threats
magazines of rivals and now almost all consumers are shifting to digital medium.

Project sponsor is the owner of all certain projects which is on behalf of the client
organisation. The project is in context with all execution of new performance assessment system
been done in efficient manner. In terms of Samsons media they will be able to determine new
methods of assessing the performance level of all employees which will help all managers to do
things in an effective way(Komljenovic, Loiselle and Kumral, 2017).
Project objectives:-
There are different kinds of objectives which are associated with the project and it is
further been explained as below:-
 To determine that employees working in the organisation are accepting and are able to
adjust with all changes as it will create an impact on whole organisation.
 To assure that there are many employees and they all can assure that efficiency and
effective level of organisation is been enhanced.
Change objectives and principles:-
The changes been done in the organisation will achieve that all people working in the
organisation are been valued. It will achieve that after certain changes that are implemented in
the organisation everything is done in an efficient manner. The basic principle to underpin the
change plan is to provide clear instructions about all the changes been done so that everything is
been implemented in an efficient manner. The ethical issues that can happen while implementing
certain changes is social responsibility as the executives should ensure that the changes should be
implemented after taking into account of all possible impact on key stakeholders. So, to address
them in a proper manner Samsons media must treat all stakeholders in aproper manner and large
perspectives should be considered.

 People:- The main focus of people in change plan is that all workers should be
communicated about certain changes happened in the organisation and each employee
should be involved in successful implementation.
 Roles:- The description and roles in relation with all jobs will be revised for each
employee and they will be given training in order to perform all responsibilities in an
efficient manner.
 Organisation chart:- The new roles and responsibilities will be defined through
organisation charts and if new changes are been implemented then for that training will
be given.
 Technology:- Any update or changes been implemented in technology the training will be
provided to all necessary stakeholders in order to assure that everything is been done in a
proper and timely manner.

In context with Samsons media the rationale was that it is needed to assure that all
employees are been there in correct manner so that they can deal with all changes been done in
the efficient way and implementation is also done in right manner. Through this way the
management of organisation will be able to assure that efficiency level is been enhanced. There

customers and certain competition from all specific brands may not be purchased by buyers due

There are various stakeholders like employees, owners, government, customers and many
more. In terms of analysis it is further been explained as below:- Employees:- The main concern and fear of employees will be about their jobs, their
career as well as different communication channels. In an organisation when any kind of
change gets implemented they should get support by having all necessary information to
avoid such resistance. The needs of employees in change management is that whole
management should shape a change culture in a better way and initiating different
training programs. The communication style which is needed with employees is to be

sensitive as after certain changes many consequences can get arise. The preferred media
for employees should always their premises only
 Customers:- The fear that customers has in terms of changes in organisation is high
quality content in Samsons media. The customers are also likely to get support from

In terms of status of all changes been done in Samsons media it was that stakeholders
were getting information about all changes on continuous basis and they were getting support for
that. As changes got initiated in the organisation the culture in the workplace got developed and
