PART 1 – Prepare a Project Charter
Project Charter
1.0 Project Definition
This project intends to relocate the office of Smith & Co. from its current location to a
CBD. The office relocation will take place within 148 days and the new office will have
all new interior. The project intends to have a meeting with the employees about the
location so that they agree with the new location and establish proper communication
within the stakeholders and the employees.
2.0 Background
Smith & Co. need to relocate their office on the behalf of notice given by Environmental
Protection Authority. They need to demolish the office as because the land had become
toxic. The company needs to relocate their business to an alternative site so that they
can operate their business. It is stated that the project will be carried out with proper
consultation as well as proper collaboration with the office staff members. This project
intends to relocate the office with proper design and layout with communal space that
can have positive interaction with the staffs. This project includes high performing as
well flexible workforce along with digital engagement.
3.0 Goals, objectives, and outcomes of the project
The goal of this project is to relocate the office to a new place in CBD as per the order given by
the Environmental Protection Authority. The goal of the project is also to have collaboration as
well as consultation with the office staff members to avoid undesirable workplace and further
cultural issues that might affect the productivity of the company.

office which was not available in the old office.

The scope of the project is to complete the project within the time frame and complete the

related to use the server or installation of CCTV is not included in the project.
