Two documents to be used to initiate project
Project charter is considered as a formal short typical document that explain project within its
entirely that includes what are the objectives as well as how it will be carried out as well as about
the stakeholders. Formally it gives the existence of project as well as gives a reference source
regarding future. It provides a direction as well as sense of purpose to the management from
beginning to the end (Demirkesen and Ozorhon, 2017).
The purpose of a project charter is to authorize the project management in order to begin the
approved projects as well as enables to utilise firm resources in order to accomplish the project
objectives.
Project management plan- It is also known as the formal document that focuses on how a
project should be going in order to carried out. It outlines the goals, scope, budget , timeline as
well as deliverables of a project as well as it is vital to keep a project on time. It is vital for
keeping a project on track. It includes.
Executive summary which is a short description of the report's content.
Project schedule- It is a high level view of milestones as well as project tasks.
Project Resource- The personnel, budget as well as other resources that can be needed in order
to meet goals regarding project.
Risk and issue management plan- It is known as the plan for stakeholder and team
communication that will be handled over the project course.
Two components of scope management plan
Scope statement- It also outlines project as it is considered as core of the scope management plan
as well as other components lay the foundation. It is considered as the written description of the
major deliverables, assumptions as well as constraints (Ika, Söderlund, and Landoni, 2020). It
specifies scope of project in effective way.
WBS- The work breakdown structure is considered as the divisions of project into several tasks.
It also forms the techniques of the modern project management techniques regarding each task
that can be analysed by the project for budget progress and schedule.
Two factors that can impact on project scope
There are various factors which can impact on project scope. It is defined as below:

Time- It is common factor as in this if there is any variation in time than it can impact on project
scope. For instance- delay in project will impact in negative way on scope as it can go wide in
other areas. It includes milestone, schedule, etc.
Resource- In this if there is lack of resources then it can impact on scope . Besides, it will also
led to rise in cost of project as well (Picciotto, 2020).
Purpose of change control plan within scope management plan
A change control plan ensure that in project if there is any change occurred then it must
be properly reviewed, defined and approved . This is because it helps in avoiding any
unnecessary change in it and disruption of project. Moreover, it enable in using resources in
efficient way. Thus, accordingly changes are made into scope management. The process
followed in it is as follow
Define change request- In this a change request is defined in it.
Submit review request –The change request is reviewed and submitted.
Define options- Various options are identified of change.
Final decision – At last final decision is taken of change (Mutcherson, 2018).
Two methods used to measure project outcomes
There are different methods by which project outcomes are measured.
Quality- It can analysis what one can doing meets the standards in order to set out within quality
plans. In this there are certain standards set by which project outcome is measured.
Cost- Several executives can rate cost management as one of the highest priority as one can
analysis how the project is financially perform which is considered as vital. Here, cost of project
is measured with actual budget.
Two methods for segmenting and documenting a work break down structure (WBS).
A WBS break project into various stages and define roles and responsibility in project. It is like
an organizational chart. The two methods in it are defined as
Pictorial method- in this an organization chart is developed. This represent flow of authority from high to
low level (Tereso, Ribeiro, and Ferreira, 2019).
Outline method- It contain items and sub items of project. Thus, each small item represent component of
high level item. Basically, it is used for monitoring and controlling of project.
Thus, these are two methods of segmenting WBS through which roles are defined in project.
