INTRODUCTION
Personal work is perform in order to enhance and boost individual's performance,
knowledge, abilities and agendas. A person requires motivation, inspiration and a role model to
stimulate him to be like them or to develop himself (Adolph, Kruchten and Hall, 2012). To
achieve success and objectives, one need to determine, document and identifies his vision, and
objectives. This help individual to develop, emerge and enhance their capabilities and achieve
success. This report analyse the set goals and priorities according importance in work in order to
achieve one's goals and aims. This will also study the ways and methods through which one can
accomplish their goals and how it will be helpful through time management activities as well as
role of SMART techniques in setting and succession of aims. Also it will study importance of
planning and responsibilities of manager in order to manage his task as well as other duties in an
organisation.
TASK 1
1. Successful personal or business goal set for yourself in last six to twelve months
A person always require a proper planning and time management in order to achieve
success and develop one's abilities, skills, and improve himself for success. A man who don't
change and improvise himself remain retro because everything which starts, evolves with time.
Not only individual but a small business or a large organisation also need to change even
professional with ocean of knowledge, he will always can find something new to learn.
I had started my diploma in business and management 12 months ago seeking a future as
a manager in a large organisation and now, I have completed my diploma and in pursuit of a
successful future. I have completed my degree with best score in my beach and scored as a
brilliant student (Armstrong, 2011). To pursue your dreams, goals and objectives, it is essential
to make plan and make hard efforts to achieve them. Nothing is going to get easily. Higher your
desires, harder the efforts require, so as I did. I knew it will be harder and challenging journey to
achieve my expectation and well (Darcyand et. al. 2012). Here what I did in order to achieve my
set goals:
Planned and managed my time schedule of entire activities that occurred in my life.
Deep research, analysis and investigation utilized in my assignment's study.

Monitored my whole activities and documents all assignments that I collected from my
lectures (Campbell, 2016).
Analysed all activities, approaches and practices and implemented in entire schedule.
2. Own objectives, targets, Key Performance Indicators or goals. Plot them in Prioritization
Matrix
Objectives, targets help an individual in developing and evolving with time and seeking
perfect decision and building strategies to attain best outcome. I am a student of management and
business that will require some objectives and targets to reach my future objectives to
accomplish my targets. Here are my aims and missions:

To complete my assignments for degree. To study all aspects that is required to compete my diploma.

To meet desired goals, accomplish my objectives and pursuit best job in field of
management and business.

Development on basics of life require regular tasks and activities to complete to meet
desired goals and objectives. These assignments lead a person to the success to meet primed
goals and assists in building an amateur as a professional. To attain objectives of an individual,
one can eliminate that into some tasks which can help them in partially successful as well as
together, they can make a large and strong bundle of skills and abilities. I have just complete my
graduation in business and management sector. Here are some tasks that helped me in achieving
objectives:
Tasks Needed to Acquire
Creating an Effective CV for seeking job as a manager or asst. manager job profile.
Updating my CV on all most popular and desired companies.
Enhance my skills and prepare myself for interviews.
Schedule my time and prepare a portfolio. Improve presentation skills.
Utilized Resources
New media to identify best company.
Analysis of effective CV to create one.
Used communication tools such as newspaper, TV, newsletter to stay updated.
People around me which help me to practice presentation in front of them.
4. Five causes why people may not achieve their goals
Obstruction restrain growth of person but if the determination is high, no barrier can
suppress his success. An individual who has determined to achieve success, have to face many
hurdles that occur to demotivate him and stop him to accomplish his mission. One who have
ability to hinder such causes or can come over from entire phase of demotivation and
demoralisation can achieve success. History bears testimony that successful businessmen do not
look over the obstacle but focus on building their weakness into strengths (Fiabane and et. al.

2013). I am a beginner and amateur, and there are a lot of barriers occur in way of success in my
life that can be my fun loving fellow and their company or demotivation from my parents or
society. Here are five reasons that may become obstacle in my achievement which is briefed
below:
1. Surrounded by people who have not accomplished objectives and missions of their own
life. This demoralise one which they are also not capable to demonstrate their own goals
and the path one is occurring is entirely appropriate (Galea, Houkes and De Rijk, 2014).
2. Helping people not only assist them and relief them but also satisfactory for one as well
as boost their confidence, values and may be beneficial while payback time. But some
people become so mean and focus on self-interest so much that they hurt and demotivate
others which comes back to them at the end.
3. Too much negativity in one's minds affect not only their mentality but also influence their
decision making process. Negative thoughts hinder person's to move or effort assuming
the fact this cannot attain their objectives.
4. Not concentrate over one thing or goals and assuming of reaching various goals and aims
at one time is most obvious and most mistake that people think. No one can ride in two
boast at once. He have to wait for finishing one ride for riding another one.
5. Listening those who demonise their feeling ignorance, negativity and jealousy etc.
5 Explain planning according your point of view and its advantages in workforce
Planning is a process of designing and identifying objectives, aims and mission which
goal to accomplish through structuring strategies, setting and forming essential methods,
implication techniques, controlling and direction ideas and accurate steps in order to attain that.
This is fundamental process required in organisation to function the management to produce and
create effective plans and strategies in regard to optimize demands and requirements with limited
sources available. This is significant and beneficial for organization for successfully implicate
the plan and reach competitive objectives. Here are some advantages of planning in workplace
explained below:
Efficient Utilization of Resources
Small or large organisation or individual, everyone have resource that are limited.
Planning helps them in efficient allocation of resources on accurate time and perfect
