1PROJECT MANAGEMENTExecutive SummaryThe management report is based on defining a project plan for the project in order to build a newhome for a family in Australia. The project plan describes the scope, objective and deliverablesof constructing a new home. It also estimates the schedule and time of the project plan withidentification of risks and constraints, assumption and project approach. The project plan willcommerce on 4th September, 2017 and it will complete on 4th June, 2018. There is 196 daysexcluding Saturday and Sunday as working days. The purpose is to finish the construction stageson time such as acquire of land for home, getting of required approvals, building the home,landscaping with external as well as internal decorating. 4PROJECT MANAGEMENT1.0 IntroductionThe project plan is based on building new home for a family in Australia. Due to increaseinto population, there is requirement of good living standards. People are required stylish homefor their living; therefore a new contract is signed for home construction in Perth. The home isbuilt with a goal to use of recycled and reclaimed materials for its construction. The building ofthe home will strike balance among environment, economics as well as society. The report analyzes the project constraints, objectives and risks to complete the projectplan on time. The schedule is planned using Gantt chart and milestone schedule. The cost of theproject is estimated using cost benefit analysis. The quality of the project plan is assured by useof good quality goods and materials for the construction purpose. 2.0 Project Overview2.1 Project ScopeThe main scope of this project plan is to build a home within nine months by analyzingthe needs as well as interests of the stakeholders. The project work is divided into manageablecomponents such as breakdown of the home into smaller components so that the project managercan easily conduct the work. The in-scope of the project are delivery of services within the home,landscaping, secured boundary fencing with construction as well as furnish of the home. The out-of-scope items are land surveying of the construction site, furnishing and maintaining of theproperty on completion.
