This research emphasizes on the flooding on the Kerala sector and the concept and techniques. The report aims to offer the factor or the reason accountable for the occurrence of the floods in Kerala with respect to construction or civil engineering. The key purpose of this investigation is to offer the resilience for building in flood in the region of Kerala. The research objectives include bringing into perspective the types of buildings, building practices and structures that are implemented in Kerala, determining the types of materials that are used to build and those damaged during floods in Kerala, identifying the types of buildings that were damaged by the floods in Kerala, determining the key issues that result in building damages in Kerala, establishing how buildings are destroyed by floods in Kerala, bringing into perspective the reason as to why the buildings were damaged due to floods in Kerala, and determining the type of materials that should be used in Kerala in order to reduce instances of flooding in the area.
