INTRODUCTION
This report aims to understand the built environment with help of an example in the
construction industry. The built environment is built by a human in our surroundings. It is
different from the Natural environment but one thing keeps in mind it does not include
construction as well as it includes building infrastructure, and parks. Infrastructure includes
many activities like transportation networks, flood defence, telecommunication, etc.
construction industry is very extensive it includes civil engineering, infrastructure, and all
building (Gilbert and Stephens 2018). The construction industry adds a new feature to their
work it is digitalization which gives strength to the built environment. The construction
industry uses these tools for their work. Now every construction industry makes a plan and
they execute their plan digitally to give a digitally constructed view. The new feature has now
become a part of every construction industry. The built environment is to be an important and
useful term it includes the human-made environment. The population is increasing so they
want a built environment it gives a chance for the life in small place a large number of
people.
The construction industry is not a small term it includes various things are residential
and commercials industry, schools, and housing when it talks about the residential industry
then humans make a small plan but when construction industries think about commercialism
which improved large specified area for the welfare of people in UK. Where construction
industry open malls and various apartment which give revenue. The responsibility for the
built environment is increasing day by day because of population increase so it is very
important to maintain the environment and increase sustainable development (Cao, Næss and
Wolday 2019). It is identified that the built environment depends on various factors including
the clear cause of actions, clear communication, inspirational vision, and appropriate
governance model strategies or objective. These things give direction to the construction
industry for making a successful project. The built environment is a very important term in
our lives without this there is no life. This report will cover the discussion of the built
environment and after this will select a project that will help in understanding the built
environment.

Investigate the various sectors of the built environment
Infrastructure: The built environment includes various sector government defense in
constructor local authority education housing etc hair will be a discussion of mainly three
important sectors. Infrastructure is the most important sector of the built environment because
it plays a crucial role in the built environment. It is identified that the increasing demand for
public transport becomes a big challenge for the UK. To solve this challenge, the built
environment needs to work on infrastructure projects which are rail, motorways, and stations
airports. It becomes very difficult to maintain an environment with development. Now the
government also focuses on sustainable development so it becomes a big challenge for the
built environment (Beemer and et.,al., 2021). UK Government focuses on transportation and
infrastructure because they think health and safety are the priority of the public at all times in
that case provide in first structure as per according to the customer requirement. The health
care system is very challenging because the population is growing day by day and their
lifestyle is very lavish so every people is lazy.
Health: They are not thinking about their health so they require medical treatment the
construction industry focus on the resources on time the NHS plays an important role in the
healthcare department but now NHS facing various problems. The project is Cambridge to
hunting done improvement testing scheme major bypass to South of hunting done and
upgrade to a 14. Work started on November 2007 and the new road is open on the 5 May
2020 it is a large project which run by the UK. This project is made by the action industry for
people's welfare
Cambridge to Huntingdon Improvement Scheme is an important project that will
discuss in this report. It is the improved and maintained England motorways. Our vision is to
make root strategies for connecting and internationally. The construction industry is managed
and developed a strategic road network which is very important for every people who live in
the UK now they are easily going anywhere with this route and it gives health solutions also.
It means any vehicle is going anywhere. Government means is provide infrastructure
facilities to their people, in that case, they launch various schemes for the welfare of people
they make roads make hospitals for the welfare of peoples. Infrastructure is a very essential
part of any country (Liddicoat, Badcock and Killackey 2020). Country success depends on
infrastructure it gives luxury and maintains a standard of people. This Highway is giving
