can help to take the competitive advantages. For attaining such objectives the management and
employee are following a appropriate organisational structure by flowing the information:
Functional structure – The relation of such structure with number of people who are
working in a grouping on the basis of specification, skills, qualification, knowledge and
experience that that helps to perform well by completing task.
Matrix organisation - The relation of such structure is with superiors where employees are
required to give report their superior who are more than. This is lengthy structure that take times
to make right business decision. Herein, flow of information is not directly (Demil, Lecocq and
Warnier, 2018) .
Strategic business units – Such structure is related with flow of information which a proper
planning is required to maintain the flow of information and decision making. Mainly this
structure is adopted by small companies where less number of employees are working.
Bentley Motors is following the functional organisation structure where all employees and
employer share their information in a proper format and directly that helps to make the right
business decision and increase the organisational productivity by attain9ing the business goals.
The interrelation between different functions in context to Bentley Motors that is following
functional structure are as defined:
Finance and marketing – To perform any activities, buying raw material, payment of
employees, using innovation and others finance is required that fill all needs. Marketing is uses
to inform people and give them right information regarding products and services. In Bentley
motors, marketing is interrelated with finance such as when ever there is required of fund to
advertisement inform public and introducing new cars fund is needed which are provided by
finance department that helps to fill the requirement. And without marketing, finance
arrangement is not possible as it attracts customers and encourages them to buy the products.
Moreover, Functional structure is uses by both department to share the information effectively
(Baker, Dant and Weaven, 2019).
Human resources and operation department – To identify, recruit, organising directing
and controlling the business activities HRM department is playing vital role who provide job
opportunities and complete the task. Operation department is looking day by day activities and
performing them effectively that help to complete the task. In Bentley Motors, HRM department

is performing role by recruiting employees for operation department by identifying skills and
abilities of employees who are willing to work in operation department. And operational
functions helps to perform the daily activities so goals can be attained as higher productivity and
brand image (Briggs, Kalra and Agnihotri, 2018).
IT with marketing – Technical department in automobile sector is highly important which
perform role and responsibilities by brining innovation and new technology in their products,
distribution process and supplying the products. Marketing department is famous to attracts
people and encouraging them to buy the products and services so activities can be complete in
certain period of time. In Bentley Motors, manager of IT department bringing innovation and
new technology in their organisation for the purpose of making new car models and running a
business effectively. As such organisation is following the functional structure where IT
department connects with marketing function and attracts people by informing regarding new
card and easy supply that increases number of customers and make higher profitability.
M2. Demonstrate the advantages and disadvantages of interrelationships
Interrelationship is important for organisation where all activities and functions can be
perform in a proper ways and format so employer can get their objectives. Bentley Motors is
using interrelationship that is beneficial for its as it helps to perform all function in certain time,
attainment of business goals, completing task and getting the competitive advantages by
performing the activities in relation to HRM, Marketing, production, IT and operation that all rae
increasing organisational brand image and market profitability. On the other side, disadvantages
is there is chances of miscommunication, though difference, employer behaviour and conflicts
between employees of different department that can reduce company profits (Kiseľáková, and et.
al., 2019).

From the report it has studied and concluded that different types of organisation are
running business that have different purpose, scope, size, and objectives. They are following
different legal structure that helps to run a business effectively and increase productivity. there is
close relationship between HRM, marketing, finance, IT, operation and production department
that helps to run a business seffectievly and increase the performance by attaining the business
