INTRODUCTION
Business communication is defined as the process of sharing and communicating all
information and data to employees within as well as outside the organisation. It is the procedure
of exchanging all views, ideas and information of business functions among all relates parties.
The communication take place between two or more people who are connected with business to
ensuring efficient running. Effective communication is important for organisation to attain all
defined goals and objectives efficiently. The report is divided into two part first is report and
second is covered in power point presentation. In this report various learning form effective
business communication, improvement in communication skills and elements of business
communication is mentioned. Apart from that Gibbs reflective model is covered in this project
report.
TASK
Learning from effective business communication at work place
Effective business communication is important for business for communicating organisational
information and strategies among all hierarchical level in organisation. according to my point of
view proper communication enhance business reputation and profit margin as well. I have learnt
that effective business communication develops better terms among all organisational members,
resolve all conflicts and misunderstanding, promote creativity with business and help to meet all
organisational goals and achieving success. Form this module, I have learnt that there are various
barriers are faces by the business such as differences in perceptions and emotional barriers,
organisation develops different strategies and solutions to mitigate all barriers efficiently
(Andersson and Wikström, 2017). I have learnt various written, listening, communication that
help to understand the depth meaning on messages.
Methods to improve Business Communication skills
Business communication is very important for the growth and development of business
properly. According to my point of view, there are various business communication skills that
help to enhance effectiveness at workplace. I have adopted various methods to improve
communication skills such as I have learnt basic non-verbal communication skills, involve with
audience during discussion and ask honest feedbacks to creates improvement in communication
skills. I have been focused on listen skills by practicing, attend various motivational seminars,

take courses and use different technologies as well. These communication skills help me to attain
all personal as well as professional objectives in effective as well as efficient manner.
Elements of Business Communication
As business communication is defined as the process of exchanging essential information
between employer and employee within or outside the business. As per my views, there are
various elements of business communication that help to convey all message clearly and
effectively to attain all organisation goals. These elements are sender, encoding, message, media,
receiver, decoding and feedback (Bigne, Ruiz and Curras-Perez, 2019). According to my view
point encoding, decoding and communication media or channel is most important elements of
business communication because they ensure the effectiveness of conveying messages clearly
and properly. In encoding sender convey message according to receiver and in decoding receiver
interpret the message properly what the sender wants to convey. Media playa important role in
ensuring effective communication of message in business to attain success.
Reflection
Description: In the process of completing the project, I have divided the project in two
parts and identify all aspects of business communication that help organisation to communicate
all necessary information and concepts at all organisational level efficiently.
Feelings: Throughout the project I have faced various feelings such as excitement,
nervousness. At the starting the project, I am quite excited and during the project I have faced
various challenges that develop the feeling of nervousness that enhance overall experience on
business communication.
Evaluation: I have evaluated aspect of business communication that enhance overall
experiences. There are various positive as well as negative situations are faced during the
completing the project. The work is done according to planning that enhance the effectiveness of
project. Some people are impact the assignment work that affect the overall working process.
Analysis: According to my point of view the initial work and time division plays important
role in completing project effectively and efficiently on time. The work is divided on the bases of
skills and capabilities that provides desirable outcomes properly. There are various approaches
are used by me during preparing assignment that saves time and completing work efficiently.
Conclusion: I have learnt various skills and capabilities during the product such as
listening, writing and communication skills that help to communicate all ideas, information and
