INTRODUCTION
Business communication is regarded as the methods of sharing information among staff into
and outside firm. Moreover, effective business communication is how staff as well as
management interacts within one other for reaching firm’s objectives and be much aligned
with key values of entity ( rThompson, (2014). The aim of this report is to represents the
effective communication within workplace. The topics which are going to be covered in this
report are learning about good business communication, improvement of business
communication skills and importance of business communication. Apart from this, reflection
is also highlighted in this report with assistance of Gibbs model.
MAIN BODY
What you have learnt from effective communication skills in workplace.
From this module and research, I would learn that effective communication skills is vital in
attaining productivity as well as maintaining stronger relations at all levels of firm ( Shaw
(2014). Moreover, it also assisted me to understand the power off visual communication as
well as develop intelligent design preferences into its own documents and presentation. In
addition to this, it allows overall parties incorporated satisfied and feeling attained. Also, this
aids me to remove miscommunication among my team members and accomplish the given
task in effective and efficient way.
IMPROVE BUSINESS COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Effective business communication refers to how employees and management connect with
one another in order to achieve organizational goals and become more aligned with
fundamental company values ( Bovee and Thill, (2008).Its primary goal is to improve
organizational operations, eliminate silos, keep people informed, and decrease errors. By this
module, I have learnt various skills like how to convey a right message to others with more
accuracy and clarity as well. It also assistsme in improving my presentation skills through
which I can easily represent my view point Infront of others. Along with this, I have also
analysed through current module that how to listen actively and share message to one to
another. With the assistance of this, I can improvised my business communication
effectively.
ELEMENTS OF BUSINESS COMMUNICATION SKILLS
It is significant for employees to have effective business communication skills because it
helps them in exchanging their views points and ideas with others. In this context, there is

different type of business communication elements that help employees in improvising their
business communication. As in includes structure, clarity, consistency, medium, relevancy.
These are directly contributing in developing effective communication (Luck, 2016). Thus, it
is significant for an individual to includes all the elements while communicating others. This
can be reducingthe possibilities of arising any kind of issues and obstacles in communicating
with others.
REFLECTION
The reflection has been described with assistance of Gibbs model of reflection.
Description: As research as well as module is performed so I would able to know that
effective communication is very much important in work area. As this assisted me to
understand the power off visual communication as well as develop intelligent design
preferences into its own documents and presentation. In addition to this, it allows overall
parties incorporated satisfied and feeling attained.
Feelings: I would feel much confident as my effective communication skill aids me to
gain various opportunities. Moreover, it could help me to influence my team in effective
manner as well as share my view in much efficient way.
Evaluation: From this above, it has been evaluated that I would assist me to gain
various innovative ideas through sharing. In addition to this, due to not having much effective
communication skills somehow I am fail to accomplish my task in effective and efficient
way.
Analysis: It has been analysed that while performing the research and task this aids
me to obtain several abilities. In addition to this, it would aids me into upcoming
development for representing effective communication competencies of mine to facilitates
best performance.
Conclusion: It have been concluded that from overall reflection while performing on
task either into team or individually facilitates opportunities to individuals for improving their
abilities effectively. Additionally, communication skills are my strengths that would assisted
me to influence others to accomplish the overall work.
Action plan: After analysing all the aspects, it has been evaluated that I would has to focused
much upon respective skills so that I would able to perform my task in much efficient way.
