Introduction
Communication plays an important role in maintaining the efficiency of the operations
with the aim of achieving the common objectives of an organization. Wagner, Beimborn and
Weitzel (2014) stated that the different changes that are undertaken by the organizations are
based on the communicability of the management with the employees. On the other hand,
Loebbecke and Picot (2015) noted that the inter- team and intra- team communications assist in
supporting the collaborative approach among the employees. In this context, the research will
investigate the different aspects of communication and thereby create an acronym while
considering the different suitable trends in the current workplace scenario. Pearlson, Saunders
and Galletta (2016) stated that positive communication among the employees helps an
organization in upholding the efficiency of team based operations through transmission of
information. Information is one of the major trends that is shaping the operations of the
organizations and the performance of the different departments.
In this context, the research will enumerate the manner in which the responsiveness of the
teams and the transmission of information help an organization in enhancing its performance.
Therefore, the report will aim at identifying the different communicational trends through a
thorough assessment of the acronym that is created.
Description of the acronym
The acronym for a manufacturing industry might be taken as CITRIN, which is being
discussed in this section of the research. The delineation of the acronym will support in
identifying the major trends that are affecting the workplace and the manner in which it brought

about modifications in the existing systems. The enumeration of the acronym will help in
maintaining the efficiency of the operations while facilitating collaborations between the
different units.

Communicate- Communication among the members play a major role in upholding the
efficiency of the operations while achieving the common goal of businesses (Schmiedel, Vom
Brocke & Recker, 2014). On the other hand, the effective communication through the
utilization of different media vehicles assists the management bodies in planning, organizing,
motivating and controlling the work force and the operations of the same. Building up links and
networks of communication in the organizational model helps an organization in facilitating the
transparency of the operations and trustworthiness.
Collaborate- The collaborative operation of the management with the employees help an
organization in maintaining the efficiency of operations. On the other hand, the collaborations
