BUSINESS COMMUNICATION Part 2A Describe and example from a current issue in your life in which this habit, “ To begin with the end in mind” would be useful. The habit “To begin with the end in mind” would be very useful in current situation of my life where I am tasked with the responsibility of leading my team successfully for performing a group task. As part of my present course curriculum I along with my 3 other class mates have been assigned a group task by our instructor. As stated by Becker (2014) in order to lead my group to top position in the class, the first and foremost task I need to do is to determine vision and goals of our group so that every memberremainsaware regardingtheir individual responsibility. The main goal of our group is to secure effectiveness and quality in task and as we began our task with the end in mind, we were very clear regarding our approach which helped in avoiding confusion and clash between members, eventually leading to success of group task. Part 2B What one activity could you do ( that you are not doing now) that if you did on a regular basis ( and did it superbly well) would have significant positive results in your professional and/or school life? Creative thinking is the activity which if I do on a regular basis, will help significantly both in my professional and school life. According to Tep, Maneewan, Chuathong & Easter (2018) creative thinking can be considered as one of the prized assets of an individual if it is utilized in most effective manner as it helps in differentiating an individual from others. Hence, the quality of creative thinking will yield significant results in my school life as it would enable me to enhance my imaginative thinking capability which can contribute to academic excellence. Also, creative thinking will yield significant results in my professional career as it would help in promoting thinking and problem solving skills and would help me contribute to strategy development as well as outperform. 1
