BUSINESS COMMUNICATION
INTRODUCTION
Communication refers to exchange of opinions, facts, emotions and ideas
between two or more people in order to create mutual understanding.
Communication is important to carry out in an organization because it aid to
better understand the needs and preferences of the people. This also uplift
relations among employer and employees throw two-way effective
communication. Hilton is an American multinational hospitality company which
is used in carried out in this report. It was established by Conrad Hilton in the
year 1919.
Barriers to communication can be termed as those parameter
which limits the channels of communication between sender
and a receiver. This restrict the business in it's growth and
success in the market. The various ways to overcome barriers
of communication are discussed as follows:
Be aware of language tone while communicating with
the other person. Try not to use slang words while
talking as it creates trouble in communication as well
as frame bad impression.
In order to improve effective communication it is very
necessary to be a good listener. Also, show interest
level in his/her topic to avoid unhealthy
communication and conflicts.
To over the barriers of communication it is very
necessary to clarify ideas for communicating with other
person. The receiver should understand the main
objective of the message you are trying to convey
him/her.

Study the challenges and barriers to effective communication
Communication can be explained as sharing of information and knowledge in the
form of oral or written form to create mutual understanding among sender and
receiver. Effective communication is important to carry out in an organization so
that confusion does not occur and set goals are achieved on time. The various
barriers of effective communication are as follows:
Linguistic barrier: Language barrier is the main problem in effective
communication. Employees working under one roof with diversified culture and
language also directly or indirectly faces linguistic barriers while expressing
views and emptions with each other. Due to which mis-understanding and
conflicts occurs among the team members which leads to unproductive results.
Perception barriers: In an organization various employees has different
viewpoints regarding the same topic or matter. Here, perception barrier creates
trouble in effective communication. When the mental thoughts or perception
level between two people does not match then it became difficult carry forward
communication in effective manner.
