Business communication offers a essential role in maintaining an effectual relation in the
professional as well as personal traits. It also concentrates to offer the opportunity in the personal
development and also in effectual communication in linkage to business operations. It is the
method of sharing the info to all the staff in the organisation and individual that are outside of it.
The following report is based on the company Brit tech which is the global IT firm that is
planing to call their workers back to office from work from home as the situation of pandemic is
getting normal. The following report will cover about the barriers as well as effectual challenges
which are being interpreted and the techniques utilised in accordance to maintain the awareness
of culture in the firm. Moreover to this, it will also include the significance and the common
operation with the effectiveness and growth of culture.

The communication in the organisation offers the essential way in which every data or
info that are linked to the company such as their policies, objectives, norms and rules. It
maintains the standard as well as interaction with every way of expressing the growth can be set.
This is one of the complex process that manages the framing and implementing every systematic
communication. Few of the main theories of the organisational communication are mentioned
below briefly:
Adaptive structural theory- It is one of the most effectual theory of the organisational
communication. As in this, it concentrates on the structure of communication way in
which every worker are focused in interacting with the technological aspects in which
digitalisation is included. Moreover, it concentrates more on the adaptation of the
technological modifications in the workplace. This respective theory involves the
integration of technology which assist the firm to manage their process of
communication.
Team learning theory- In this theory, employees of the company establish an effectual
interaction by appropriately listening to all. All the people offers their own ideas,
thoughts and opinion regarding overcoming the several conflicts in the company. It assist
them to enhance their performance as well as productivity in the attainment of their task.

healthy in the company by concentrating more on to their goals instead of their personal
objectives.
Act theory of communication - This theory concentrates on the effectual evaluation of

and experience. A crucial element of respective theory is to accomplish the assigned task
effectually in order to make every employee in the company can obey various set of this
method. By adapting this theory of communication, psychological hypothesis can b
examined and it can be acquired by the large experience.
Agenda setting theory- This theory is linked to the capability of impacting the public
motive in an effectual as well as efficient way. The following theory of communication
referred to the appropriate way in which media attempt to acquire more consumer base
and together with it, this also position the major structure of hierarchy. It offers the
thought which the news channels or print media make the agenda of public by making the
consumer understand elements which the need to represent.
Barriers of communication which made employees unwilling to return to the office in pandemic
At the time of COVID 19, management of Brit Tech has made their employees to work
from home instead of coming to office and due to it they are encountering various issues.
Company is facing several kinds of the barriers in the communication. In case of the Brit tech
few of their main barriers which they are encountering is mentioned below briefly:
Physical barriers- This barrier refers to the physical disarray and some of the outside
components from the atmosphere of the company which may impede in the smooth flow
of interaction. At the time of COVID, workers are not comfortable in order to travel in
any type of public transport because of the spread of virus and also to the hygiene issue.
In case of the company Brit Tech, the workers of the firm are not willing to take the
public transport as they are afraid of getting infected of this virus.
Emotional barriers- Workers of the organisation feels that their productivity has
increased because working from home instead of working from office. In context to the
Brit tech, staff of the firm majorly preferring function their work from home as they think
that their productivity has increased because of the flexibility in it.

Organisational structure barriers At the time of pandemic there are several
guidelines that are imposed by the authorities linked to the working system of the
companies. In context to the Brit Tech, employees are not very comfortable regarding to
coming to office back because of the low social distancing and ventilation in the
company.
Perceptual barriers- In this type of barrier workers are concerned that if unvaccinated
employees can increase the risk other employees in the company of getting vaccinated. In
case of the company Brit Tech, at the time of pandemic, employees of the company are
afraid that if they did not get the jab of vaccine they will face discrimination in office as
well as who got the job will feel afraid of getting infected from the ones who are
unvaccinated.
Interpersonal barriers- This barrier means to the people that are not able to go out and
interact with others because of the imposed lock down. In relation to the Brit Tech, at the
time of lock down, the workers feel that they are not able to interact appropriately as they
can get nervous in order to communicate with their team members.
Brit- tech strategies to overcome from these barriers
By possessing the effectual communication techniques, the organisation can give their
directions to their workers. The firm must interact in such a manner in which organisation make
apprehensible to the workers in order to get the appropriate guidance. Organisation should
eliminate any kind of misunderstanding as this can effect the performance of the workers. In
accordance to eliminate these barriers, the organisation need to adopt several techniques that are
mentioned below briefly:
Utilisation proper language- The organisation impart their message and other info in the
way that is conveniently understandable by their employees and utilises the identifiable
expression that can adapt by their worker more easily. It might includes the display of the
sign which states about the following all the protocols in the premises.
Asking and giving feedback- This is crucial for reviewing and eliminating the
communicational barriers by taking the the consistent feedbacks and reviews. By asking
for the ideas and opinions of the employees regarding work from home as it will assist
the organisation to determine their error which gives them better outcomes. It assist to

top facilities to their workers.
Try to understand employees- Several barriers in communication in the company
comes because of the misunderstanding among the people. In accordance to appropriately
communicate the firm must know about the point of view of their employees linked to the

Be specific in information- Organisation need to be certain regarding their information.
Management need to avoid unrequited information and interact as only crucial info that
assist the workers to know their actual idea and function effectually in accordance to the

crucial to function the business effectively in order to attain the business goals. There are various
types of the communication which are opted by the business as this can either be informal or
formal communication. In addition to this, the COVID 19 pandemic has made several barriers in
communication in the company and these barriers are emotional barriers, interpersonal barriers,
physical barriers and many more. In order to overcome these barriers which are facing by the
respective firm need to take several techniques in order to make the communication convenient
in their workers. As the workers of the firm did not desires to return back to the office as they are
more concerned about going out in public.
