INTRODUCTION
Business communication is important for the organisations to develop healthy and productive
working environment. Business communication is the process of sending and receiving the
business information in effective manner at right time and right place (Koporcic and Ivanova-
Gongne, 2020). In the organisations the Covid-19 has caused negative impact on the
interpersonal communication of the employees due to occurrence of some significant barriers. In
order to prevent the spread of the covid-19 the UK government has a taken the measures among
which the organisation where transformed into work from setting. The present report is based on
the Brit- Tech – an UK based IT company has is working in work from setting from nearly two
years. But, now company wants their employees to come office for two days a week but with this
company has been facing some serious barriers in its business communication. The present
report will outline the different theories of organisational communication. Further there is the
evaluation of the barriers of communication which made the employees unwilling to return to the
office. In end the Brit-Tech strategies to overcome the barriers are discussed.

General theories of organisational communication
Brit-tech organisation is the wide space IT technology company that has diversified
workforce, roles and operations. In order to operate the company effectively the company must
foster productive and better organisational communication. There are different theories that
organisations utilize for implementation of the effective communication (Kasemsap, 2018). For
the Brit-tech company the different organisational communication theories are used that are
discussed underneath:
Verbal communication theory
The verbal communication is the form of communication in which the exchange of
message is carried in the form of words through word of mouth from one person to another or to
a group. The verbal communication theory is the most common and highly used for of
communication in the organisation where the people communicate with each other through oral
or written communication. In relation to the Brit-tech company the company build their effective
communication by communicating through E-mails, internal texts, letters etc. also there is face
to face conversation among the employees. To foster the effective communication after the work
