Introduction:
Effective business communication is highly significant in achieving business goals and
objectives
This study has focused to give in-depth overview about effective business
communication as one of the most significant concepts in workplace. Without proper
communication method business persons can never run their organization successfully. Before
making an effective business strategy and policy business managers need to make interpersonal
or group communication with every concerned stakeholder. While defining communication as an
overarching term numerous eminent scholars have provided their own opinion. Mishra, Boynton
and Mishra (2014) opined that communication is the link or bridge that connects the people
associated with business organization towards a particular goal.
Section 1: Identify concept related to work and its significance:
Business communication Week 1:
Week 1 just gave an introduction about the unit and different aspects of communication
process. Communication helps in transmitting appropriate messages to the stakeholders based on
which they becomes active and responsible towards their services. By evaluating the opinion of
different eminent scholars it can be defined that communication is the systematic method of
decoding the important messages to the right person in quest of making them alert about their
roles and responsibilities (Tourish, 2014). This particular concept has left immense significance
in the realm of business field without which both internal and external stakeholders cannot step
forward in delivering their services.

Business communication week2:
Week two has provided in-depth overview about various significance of non-verbal
communication. Non-verbal communication is the most effective ways based on which both the
business managers and employees can communicate with each other effectively. Non-verbal
communication method includes email, report, employment letter, newsletter, manuals and so
many. Body language and expressions are also considered as one of the most effective parts of
non-verbal communication method. Listening is one of the most significant ways of nonverbal
communication technique
Business communication week3:
Week 3 evaluates written communication method and its importance. Some of the
eminent scholars consider written communication as a part of non-verbal communication
method. With the help of non-verbal communication the business experts can circulate important
messages to the employees (Bedwell, Fiore & Salas, 2014). While gathering any kind of
feedback the employees can give revert to this written communication form.
Business communication week4:
Week four has provided detailed overview about written communication and its major
significant. The study has analyzed that written communication is highly important in order to
maintain a formal business environment. Written communication through email and newsletter
can help the business experts in equally distributing the messages to every employee associated
with the organization.

Week 5 has also constituted the context of week 4 where the study has discussed negative
aspects of written communication method as well. In written form of communication method
employees get delayed reply. As a result, people have to face immense challenges in making
direct communication to resolve any urgent issue.
Business communication week6:
In week six the study has provided professional presentation techniques while
communicating with the employees. Effective business communication is a vast concept which
is even segregated into several parts. Effective business communication is of two major types
that include verbal communication and non-verbal communication.
Sometimes, maintaining effective verbal communication becomes a major challenge for
large number of employees. People belonging to different cultural backgrounds and attitudes are
not well accustomed with effective verbal communication. In this kind of situation, the
employees fail to share their views and thoughts with others.
Business communication week7:
Week 7 provides a detailed vista on how intercultural communication is the conversation
among the people from various religious and psychological backgrounds and attitudes. An
organization is constituted with the people of various psychological backgrounds and attitudes.
Therefore, business managers while making a business meeting and communication involve all
the team members in a conference hall for maintaining proper and effective interaction regarding
the business purpose.
