INTRODUCTION Business communication is the continuous process of sharing information between people within and outside a company for the purpose of accomplishing goals. As per my perception without sharing information it become difficult for each one to share information and complete the project timely(Ebil, Salleh, and Shahrill, 2020). Team involvement termed to engagement of employees in specific work and bring changes in their behaviour so task could be complete effectively. This essay will help to describe my communication skills, team development theory and other aspects which used to finish my work. PART 1 Describe and analyse the interpersonal dynamics within your team Interpersonal dynamics explains the interaction between members in relation to specific social context that can help to manage all functions. In other words, to share information between team members at same workplace is known as interpersonal communication. While studying in college I faced the issues such as listening, non-verbal communication, diversity, and persuasion that affected my team as they did not perform well. Herein, I understood that clear communication is must between people as it used to share information or task which is saying by othersandrespondsproperly.Toresolveinterpersonalissues,Ishouldhavegood communication, collaboration and problem solving skills which I could use to understand my team issue and solve it effectively. This would help to achieve own goals which I decided in specific task (Buljac-Samardzic, Doekhie, and van Wijngaarden, 2020). 2. Describe and analyse the intrapersonal issues that affected the team Intrapersonal issue is problem which we experience within ourselves. Intrapersonal communication means to communicate within person by using team development stages as it brings changes and managing all functions. My group was comprised of people who belongs to different background, each with his/her perspectives. I was working on project where I need to involve team member but due to lack of intrapersonal communication such as language barriers, cultural change and skill gap I faced the issue of self-disclosure, self-awareness, values, goals and self- management which affected my team and working. This is very important for individual and group of people to have clear and right communication as it helps to understand what others wants and how they could satisfy. To manage any work, I need to improve my 3
intrapersonal skills which could help me to connects with people easily and create values by attaining goals. For example, I asked to out for dinner when the person just stay home or take a nap. In this, no one is involved I decision making and faced issue with making the choice. This directly affected my team where it is important to examine own thoughts, beliefs, and values that could help to resolve all conflicts and increase self-awareness (Jabir, Falih, and Rahmani, 2019). PART 2 Describe and analyse the performance of your team throughout the team’s development (link back to Tuckman’s theory) When I was working in Tesco my senior management assigned me a project to increase sales where I needs to build up a team to gets work done and attain goals as well as objectives. To start a project, I build a team by selecting skilled and talented members that would help me to start and finish each task properly(Aguinis, and Solarino, 2019). I observed that my team is facing the issue of managing conflicts, negotiation, team failure, challenges in making decision, and lack of leadership due to which all function and activities of organization are not managing properly. I used Tuckman’s theory for team development and building string team that can help to solve all issues in different stages that are as explained: Forming:I used this stage to share common goals by creating team charter and help team members to set their own personal goals so that work would be performing accordingly. I decided to complete the project in specified time period along team so I put own ideas and thoughts in from of all members. Storming:This stage is used by me to break a team where it became important for me to establish processes to track success of task which assigned by top management. The group must feel safe after putting forward ideas. I noticed that my team is facing issue of conflicts between team members, fixing meetings, low empowerment and lack of coaching that affected badly on work performance. This might be creating challenge for me to complete the task(Smith, Busi, Ball, and Van Der Meer, 2019). Norming:This stage being used by me to get team bond and managing virtual team building exercises. I focused over social connection and used common language to understand problem of all individuals. I decided to provide training and encouraged individual to step back, review common as well as personal goals, managing all function, negotiation, and following 4

leadership that helped me to reach nearby goals. Herein, we all improved our communication, language, leadership, coaching, decision making, and problem solving skills that supported me to take right step (Ekawati, 2019)(Moure, 2019). Performing:This stage showing the results or outputs after making efforts that can help to take right action. This is important for each to use team development theory as it develop understanding that how to achieve personal as well as common goals. In this, I boost team engagement by allocating task as per their skills and willing to work. Herein, we celebrate team achievement as task have been done timely and preciously (Rothman, and et.al., 2020). From the above I observed that team is effective which is build and prepare by me in relation to complete time timely. The work defines impossible to complete in case of lack of communication and team development skills. I used my collaboration and conflict management skills that helped me to collect all people and engagement in particular task. This project has increased the value of team and increased insights how to make effective team. This became most important for me to set up team by analysing skills and talent then introduce changes accordingly which can help to attain personal and professional goals. PART 3 1. Reflect on the success or failure of the team processes Team process termed to actions taken by team members to combine their individual, knowledge, resources and skills to resolve their demands and achieve goals collectively. In above section I described that I how used the Tuckman’s team development theory to complete a specific project. I got success of team process as I completed task in certain period of time with the help of my team members. During the project I felt nervous which have created challenges for me to complete the project but I had good communication and problem solving skills which I used to share goals with all and manage each task properly. The stages of Tuckman are forming, storming, norming and performing which was very supportive for me as I found conflicts and solve wisely. This has been created a challenges for me in staring that how I would complete task. Team process helped me to identify the solution, boost morale, increase employee engagement and allocated the work between people that given success (Dawson, and et.al., 2019). 5
2. Suggest how the team processes might be improved using research literature (only peer- reviewed journal articles from the past 10 years). As perCoombs (2020), Team process is needed for human resource management and other functions that used to understand specific task and bring changes accordingly. As I worked as HR manager in corporation where I noticed that team development is important process which used to analysis the issues that arises while working and affected the organizational productivity. I could improve team processes by diversifying team in to specific task, sharing information regularly,beingauthentic,clarifyingeachperson’srole,and evaluatingdailywork flow activities that helped me to manage team member and complete each task. This become effective and supportive for me to accomplish personal as well as professional goals. Thus, in above section I explained that how I would improve team process or skills that increased own skills and build confidence to accept the all challenges. My overall experienced in study and working in organization was good as I learn various thing in my schooling day which I applied while working. I analysed my weakness and put efforts to change in strength by improving skills and abilities to work (Verčič, and Špoljarić, 2020). PART 4 Reflect on own personal business communication strengths and weaknesses and how have developed these over the duration of the course. AsaStudent,itisimportantformetomakesurethatthePersonalBusiness Communication can be done in quite an appropriate and proper manner(Ebil, Salleh and Shahrill, 2020). For this, it is essential that the development of the right skills and competencies can be carried out which will therefore help in the attainment of the goals and objectives. I have observed that I have my own strengths and weaknesses on which I need to work on so that I can attain my future goals and objectives in quite a proper and appropriate manner. Therefore, it can be stated that these strengths and weaknesses are as follows- Strengths- By developing these skills I can make sure that I am able to communicate with the different types of people in quite a proper and appropriate manner. Through the development of these skills I can ensure that the development of a right level of cooperation and coordination can be done with the different types of people which will 6
therefore be quite helpful in ensuring that the attainment of the goals and objectives can be carried out. Weaknesses- I am not able to proficiently communicate in a proper and appropriate manner in the class which therefore creates a particular level of impact on me (Tomičić Furjan, Tomičić- Pupek, and Pihir, 2020). I am not able to deal in a proper and appropriate manner with the problems and issues of some of the people which therefore creates a high-level of impact on me and affects me a lot. Thus, I can state that I need to work a lot on my Strengths and therefore this will help me a lot in enhancing my skills and competencies in a proper and appropriate manner in the future and will therefore help me a lot to attain the necessary goals and objectives. I feel that I need to take a right and appropriate course of action so that I am able to bring an enhancement in these skills in quite a proper and appropriate manner. Therefore, I can state that I am able to make sure that I can take the following steps for this particular purpose- I need to make sure that I can take part in more meetings with the different students of my class which will help me in enhancing my communication skills in a better manner quite effectively and efficiently and will help me a lot. I need to ensure that I am able to take the right decisions by properly analysing the situation which will therefore help me a lot in ensuring the attainment of the necessary goals and objectives and will therefore be quite useful for me in the future(Hong and et.al., 2021). I have to make sure that I can cooperate and coordinate in a proper manner with the people who will therefore help me a lot in ensuring that I am able to deal with the different types of problems and issues quite properly and appropriately. I need to make sure that I am able to take the right decisions in quite an appropriate manner so that I can enhance my own skills and competencies in a proper and appropriate manner. 7

CONCLUSION From the reflection it has concluded that to work collectively and managing functions is known as team work where it is important to understand issues and resolve it properly. Tuckman theory is used by me to develop the effective team and getting work done effectively. To know strength and weakness in business communication there is need to use SWOT analysis that can help to manage each function and complete task. 8
