INTRODUCTIONCulture refers to an essential component within business organisation which directlyaffect the strategic directions of the company. It has been analysed that business culturedetermines how effectively staff members of different level communicate well with each other. Ithas been said that business culture is associated with the ethics, norms, behaviour, etiquettes andmany more. Along with the culture of an organisation it is essential to have some responsibilitieswhich assist in accomplishing goals and objectives effectively. TESCO is chosen as the basecompany which is a British multinational company(Ahmad and Khan, 2016). It is a public limited company founded by Jack Cohen in the year 1919. TESCO mainlydiversify its business functionality in different areas which includes clothing, furniture, books,retailing and many more. In this report, various topics are going to be discussed which includesprocedures for recycling, maintaining equipment and disposing of waste. Apart from this, thepresent report includes significance of workforce diversity along with waste minimization withinthe organisation. In addition to this, it involves importance of maintaining confidentiality andsecurity along with managing risk.TASK 1Identify the benefits of keeping waste to a minimum.Minimising waste within the workplace assist in reducing the cost of businessorganisation and help in preserving the external as well as internal environment. It has beenidentified that waste reduction is not costly and time consuming. It is very important for everybusiness entity that they manage and control the scrap and wastage and make sure that theenvironment will remain clean and safe(Anwar, Sjoraida and Rahman, 2019). In the presentcontext of TESCO, management team of the company recognise the significance and benefits ofminimising waste. With the help of waste minimization, organisation will be able to protect theenvironment, reduce cost of the company and savings the space. This as a result assist in creatingpositive brand image of the organisation at the competitive marketplace. Along with this, itmotivates the current staff members in order to protect and secure both internal as well asexternal environment. This will assist in attracting large number of customers towards theirorganisation. Reducing waste within the organisation leads to establish good brand image of thecompany in the mind of customer's and grab various opportunities at the marketplace.

Also,company is focussing on maintaining proper management of waste. Suggest methods for reducing wastage from the business environment.There are many ways through which wastage can be reduced in external environment ofTESCO:Usage of plastic in overall business process must be minimized.sustainable initiatives for agriculture should be done.Minimum discharge of hazardous chemicals must be done.carbon emissions must be reduced by high percentage.efforts must be done so that all products consist of pal oil which is sustainable and does notharms overall environment.Implementation of suggestions.Above mentioned suggestions are some changes which can be taken by TESCO in theiroverall process which could help them in protecting overall external environment. Externalenvironment is providing all resources to a company, so it is sole responsibility of company alsoto pay back to our environment in form of minimizing overall wastage. Government is alsotaking strict action against those companies which are emitting huge waste and this is provingvery harmful as this is leading to degradation of environment(Dagli and Averbek, 2017). Naturalresources are very important assets and they have to be protected by companies, there must beminimum pollution standards being set by companies so that they can control and monitor ifthere is something which is causing unintentional harm to environment.Evaluation of the impact of change.After implementation of these changes in TESCO.
