INTRODUCTIONBusiness environment is collection of all internal or external factors like customers needsand requirement, employees, demand and supply, owners, suppliers, management, clients and soon. These factors influence functions of the company and focuses on how company worksdirectly or indirectly. Collection of these factors affect the situation and conditions of an businessenterprises. Business environment helps in analysing the useful resources and opportunities ofbusiness in a effective manner. In this present report Oxfam is taken as a voluntary organisationwhich is a global movement of so many people who share the belief that, in a global scenariowhere poverty is not inevitable. On the other side Tesco Plc is taken as a private company whichis a multinational retailer company. This report contain several topics such as types of business,purpose of purpose of private or voluntary organization. Along with this it will discussed aboutthe various stakeholders who affect the business purpose. Apart from this business situations andvarious styles of an organisation which is helpful for the company will going to be explained inthis. Lastly, this report will be end up by explanation of political, economical, social factorsimpact these businesses (Zur, Muehlen and Shapiro, 2015).TASK P1. Evaluation of different type and purpose of an organisationThere are two types of organisation which are given below:TESCOIt is a British multinational grocery store and general trade retailer company which isfounded in 1919 by Jack Cohen on the basis of market stalls and their headquarters in Tescohouse Welwyn Garden City England. It is the third biggest retailer company in the worldmeasured by total revenues. This company expanded their business rapidly and through 1939company had over 100 Tesco shops across the world. It is a private organisation which runs theirbusiness with the goal of making net income by an individual, partnership, association or agency.This is distributed in all over the surroundings of UK. Purpose: The main purpose of Tesco is to be the best for customers and serving them toenjoy a better quality of life and easiest manner of living. This is because customers want goodproducts at great values which they can purchase easily. Therefore, company provide their betterquality of product and it is their responsibility to fulfil the customers demand in a right way.1
Nature: Tesco launch their first outlet in Edgware, North London in 1929. it isestablished by John Cohen and T.E. Stockwell. This company always used different strategies tocreate customer loyalty. It reached the billion pound ratio in 1979. therefore, it became thebiggest retailer company in Unites Kingdom. Private Limited CompanyIt is type of privately held small business entity, in which the proprietor liability is limitedto their shares and shares are prohibited from being publicity traded. Therefore, business is alegal entity. Limited liability and its importance to a limited company: It is type of liability where aperson's financial liability is limited to a fixed amount, most commonly the worth of a person'sinvestment in a company or partnership. The importance of limited liability is that there is acrucial protection for stockholder in a company and they can only set the value of theirinvestment. Other importance is that limited liability does not defend against fraudulent trading. Limited company setup: In the setup of limited company, liability of members andsubscribers of the company is limited by shares or guarantee. These company publish a notice inthe newspaper, submit it and then create an limited liability company operating agreement get onthe same page with the business partners and lastly set up the LLC.HMRC requirements for the company: This term stand for Her Majesty's Revenue andCustoms, it is a non-ministerial department of the UK government which is responsible for thecollection of taxes and performing in the effective manner in the atmosphere of UK. In thecontext of private company HMRC is required because it collect tax from privately ownedenterprises (Weiss, 2014).OXFAMIt is a connection of 20 independent charitable organisations which is consideration onthe comfort of global poverty. This direction is a type of non profit organisation which wasestablished in 1942 by Cecil Jackson-Cole in England. This company operates their businessglobally.Purpose: The main goal of this company is to help in making permanent solutions to theunfairness of poverty. There vision is to have poverty free world, in which people can enjoy theirrights and able to take decisions regarding their responsibilities. 2
