Corruption is one of the oldest forms of evils which havebeen ailing the various nations of the world for a very long time (Rose-Ackerman and Palifka2016). However, in the recent times it is seen that this particular evil has become a part of thevarious nations of the world (Rose-Ackerman and Palifka 2016). The problem of corruptionis affecting the government organizations of the various nations of the world in an adversemanner and the role played by the bureaucracy of the various nations of the world is alsosignificant to note in this particular context. It is significant to note that the various nations ofthe world have devised various measures to curb this particular menace but they have notbeen able to curb it in a significant manner (Gould, Sherman and Ansari 2013). This reportwill discuss about the concept and its related aspects in the particular context of the nation ofPakistan.“Corruption in Pakistan”As per a study “nearly 7 in 10 had to pay a bribe” and the annual bribery rate of thenation of Pakistan is more than 40% for the year 2017 (Forbes.com. 2018). It is a pertinentreflection of the level to which the evil of corruption has penetrated into the nation ofPakistan. In the opinion of many people “Corruption is violation of norms.
