Business ethics is defined as the set of
moral rules which focuses on how business
can operate, how people are treated with
others, and how business take decisions
(Probst and Kasztelnik, 2020).

Marks & Spencer is the organisation that
believes that success is important but it should
be with sustainability. Sustainability is
necessary in the companies as today's
business environment is just focusing on
profitability. Apart from these categories, they
get some best ratings in many fields that are
mentioned below which shows their ethical
philosophy:
Supply chain management: It is found that
there are many people that reported issues
regarding the salaries as they feel that they are
getting very less salaries according to their
skills and knowledge.
Environmental policy: Marks & Spencer is the
company that focuses on reduction of
greenhouses gases so that they can reduce
greenhouse gases.
Animals: In the case of animals, it is the
organisation that has a mixed record.
Role of the senior management team to
maintain the business standards
It is identified that senior management team
performing an actions for the purpose of
maintain business standards in the organisation
They perform many roles in this purpose which
are mentioned below:
Senior management team is responsible for
the purpose of setting objectives and goals
for subordinates so that they can know their
roles and responsibility. It is very helpful
for organisation as their employees have

perform very well in the company so that
they can attain organisation goals.
