INTRODUCTION

they deal in different types of products and services. Mainly they develop operations and

1869 so that they expanded into several kinds of groceries (Manrai, Manrai and Dickerson,
2015). After this, business continuously expand in different sectors to make innovative results. In
order to implement SMART objectives, following elements implemented:
Specific: With respect to determines specific objectives, it can be stated that Marriott
hotel wants to enhance their customer base in different areas of the world. In this way,
profitability also increasing to ascertain creative results and outcomes. Further, with the
help of objectives, they need to concentrate on generating more revenue and profitability
(Babu and Manukonda, 2018).
Measurable: Objectives helps to increase market share and profitability with customer
increment. Around 10,000 customer increases in one year in Marriott hotel so that it help
to measure effective results. It develops platform to accomplish desired results in limited
time period (Karim, Jain and Ekpanyapong, 2018).

well. There are different elements exist that impact on chosen enterprise such as political
stability, tax rate, etc. (Aygün and Oeser, 2017). Economic factors: Economic factors also play important role in hospitality enterprise
sector. For instance, it considers demand, costs, prices and profitability due to which
economic conditions more impact on company. In order to focus on economic elements,
the chosen business need to expand into emerging market (Grimmer, Miles and Grimmer,
2016). Social factors: Due to changes in customer demand and requirement, Marriott hotel
affected. Hence, they need to prefer and focus on their need and requirement. Along with
this, growing demand of customers assists to increase profitability and effectiveness at
workplace. Technological factors: With the help of technological advancement, positive impact
would be generated on business operations. It creates significant advantages to make high

etc. Bargaining power of suppliers (Low): Suppliers possess low bargaining power because,
hospitality enterprise have several options to produce effective results in the market.
They can purchase raw material from other suppliers. Marriott hotel can easily purchase
raw material from different suppliers at low price.
Bargaining power of customers (High): Customer of Marriott hotel possess high

create marketing they also give advertisement on the television and social media from that many
customers aware form the firm service and having Marriott hotel productivity. All those
promotions' idea improve company marketing. In other world to improve marketing organization
also make plan for door to door marketing form that all customer are aware from the
organization services.
Apart from that Marriott hotel also make plan to improve sales and productivity of
company like firm try to innovate product and make changes on organization's product which
improve productivity in and also increased sales because market changes very time and

have effective skills like operational skills, technical skills and managerial skills. All skills have
their own personality which reflect to the manager.
Operational skills- The operational skills of Marriott hotel organizations covers al the
area of operational department. Like this skills help in organizations to control al the
operations in firm like marketing, sales, production, administration, information handling
etc. all the operations handle by the management in organisation these skills helps to

management and staff skills both require co-ordination in department from that the organisation
increased their working capabilities and they also improving all staff working conditions.

improve them (Baddourah and et.al 2017). The management have also responsibilities
employees to identify their needs and their requirement to the organisation it helps to manage
department work conditions. The staff skills justify the role in organisation to define each and
very activities in organization like employees relations to their partners and teamwork etc.
