INTRODUCTIONBusiness Health Check is a tool to check the effectiveness of operations and someimportant areas within it. It is a comprehensive evaluation of critical and crucial areas ofbusiness. The employer needs to review working of its operations from experts outside business.It helps company to concentrate over key areas of operations with the help of business coach orexperts. To meet the health check criteria, company needs to evaluate about certain things like,objectives of business, factors which are affecting it operations, formulating plans to evaluateand improve the effectiveness of business. McDonald’s is a leading American fast food chainand the world’s largest restaurant chain that offers variety of fast food meals is selected in thepresent report. Today, it is the largest restaurant chain that operates inmore than 100 countries serving approx. 70 million people. It is among the world’s fourth largestcompany that provides job to 1.9 million employees. Company has global reach and operates innearly many prominent places of the world. It has a large number of product offerings rangingfrom hamburgers to wraps and chicken products. The company has skill of product innovationand also easily adapting to various political system make it a leading brand in fast food industry.Further, it has competent staff and large workforce which make company a successful entity(Saaty and Vargas, 2013).The short term objectives of McDonald’s is to serve the best quality of food to customersand increase their loyalty and lifetime value towards company. The company offers manyvarieties of meals which are needed to be a standard product so that consumers will not have tosacrifice quality for price. It aims to improve the quality of food in Asian countries in next oneyear. Moreover, it also aims to diversify and make its menu local according to place or countryfrom where it operates from this year and attain the objective within next five years. It aims toachieve these objectives in the next five years.Long term objective of company is to effectively fulfil the corporate social responsibilitywhich it have towards the society and environment as a whole.
