BUSINESS IDEA 2
CHILDREN BOARDING AND DAY CARE INSTITUTION WITH PEDIATRICS
Company Description
A children boarding and daycare institution is a business idea that is aimed at retaining
children within a care, mentoring and supervision center as their parents go to work. I arrived at
the idea after doing a personal social research on the implication of globalization which forces
most parents to work both at day and night (Li et al 2015). Most children have developed deviant
behaviors due to lack of proper supervision from parents who spend more time at work and leave
behind their children with nannies or relatives (Faircloth,2014). The Children boarding and a day
care institution with pediatrics is aimed to ease parents' burden through a professional approach.
The institution will be aimed at increasing confidence among parents and reduce crime rates
among children. Confidence among parents will be increased as they're assured of their children
safe and positive nurturing as they work. Presence of boarding and daycare will help reduce
crime rates among children and encourage to learning and interactionn with their peers under the
supervision and guidance of professionals (Clutterbuck,2016). The institution shall cater for
children between the ages of 2 to 16 years by offering an appropriate program for each group.
However, the pediatric program will extend to 21 years old. Building up a pediatrics center
within the daycare to take care of the sick children and also to give a chance for pediatricians'
view the health conditions of the children and ensure they are in sound health.
Reasons for Choosing the Idea
My decision at the thought was inspired by the changes in the society that have forced
parents to spend more time at work and less time with their children. Nevertheless, my greatest
aspiration emerged from psychological and sociological research findings which reveal that
increased crime rates among children have been attributed to by poor parental modeling and
mentoring ( Brezina,2015). I also discovered that there were fewer children boarding and day
care institutions that offer pediatric services at the same time. Forms of children rights violation
in the absence of parents have also increased. I, therefore, developed the idea with a mentality of
taking care of children on behalf of parents through mentoring and answering to their medical
needs.
Strengths of the Idea
Professional guidance for children in the absence of parents
Presence of Pediatrics to take care of their children when sick and monitor the health
