INTRODUCTION Employability skills refer to transferable skills by an individual to make employable. They helps in improving performance, minimize errors and promote collaboration with co- workers which results in perform role more effectively. Business management can be defined as managing the organization and coordination in the business activities. This includes in using the resources more effectively and efficiently to obtain the objective in the process. This report is an reflection on employability skills on business management. Reflection As per my point of view employability skills helps in growth and success of the individual in both personal and professional life.There are various skills that are present that can helps in getting various job opportunities in future career. Gibb’s reflective model can be used to identify my strength and weakness so that I can plan various methods to improve skill for growth in future circumstances. Therefore, evaluation of my employability skills through use of Gibb’s reflective model is as follows: Description From my previous experience when my lecturer gave me the project of business management I learned various skills which I will use to develop the business in future. Lecture has also taught us about the pros and cons for the skills involved in the business development. The project that I made has enhanced various skills of me that can be used to effectively manage and run business in order to earn maximum profitability (Vom Brocke and Mendling, 2018). Lecture has told about various method that need to be answer in project so that we can easily give right answer of particular actions. Feeling I was quite happy and eager, excited to learn about various business management skills that can be useful in future career in getting better job opportunities. At the same time I was nervous and hesitating that whether I would able to make correct project or not. But positive think has motivated and influenced me to work hard and better so that project can be made successful. Therefore overall it can be illustrated that project of business management has helped to known about various skills that are required by manager and leaders to effectively influence individual to work in particular manner so that goals can be achieved. I have evaluated various skills or strength and weakness of myself while making project such as I get to know I have good interpersonal skills and oral communication but failed to express my views, ideas to other through written communication. The above project has also taught me that my strength lies in influencing people and think creative ideas so that particular task can be made interesting and innovative (Chernev,2018). At the same time I get to know that I need to improve my research and problem solving skill that are present in good business manager so that company can easily face various challenges and achieve its objectives. I also need to work on time management skills so that task can be completed within limited time and better result can be gained. Analysis It can be critical analysed that I need to work on such written communication skills and time management to get best opportunity in future. Through overcoming my weakness I can get numerous opportunities in career thus helps in overall growth and success (Sun and Jia, 2017). I have analysed that I can build strong relationship with others by understanding their grievance and problem faced by them. Therefore such skills help me to become one of leading and successful manager to enhance performance of employees. Conclusion It can be concluded that in order to develop most of the employability skills I need to plan different strategies that can helps in making my skills better for future growth. Therefore I have decided to make action plan so that I can easily remove my weakness and effectively gained most of the employability skills for better job option.
