1. What will the award be used for?
The award is used for research purpose in which I research on top hotels in UK who uses different sustainability
strategies in their workplace in order to protect the environment from pollution and also provide further
strategies through which environment will be protected by using sustainability strategy.
2. How will the award enhance or add value to your student/graduate experience?
This award help me to enhance my research skills and communication skills that will definitely help in my future.
3. Who will benefit from the award/how will impact be measured?
The hotel sector as well as citizen of UK will be benefited because If the environment is free from pollution, then
it will definitely creates positive impact upon overall country. It will be measured by set up benchmarking tool as
well as deep research on each and every top hotels.

From this, I enhance my research skills and earlier I was not so confident where to invest such a high amount
but now I think that by investing the amount in such a project will help me to meet new people and enhance
my current knowledge as well. Earlier I only have theoretical knowledge but while studying on the particular
directly assist me to enhance knowledge and also raise my research skills too. Therefore, this makes a clear
difference because I indulge only in theoretical books but by researching on the particular tool will help me to
realistic i.e. practical knowledge. Then I come to know that there is a wide difference between the theoretical
knowledge and practical knowledge.
As I have a good academic records such that I have a good grasping power but when I start working on the
project I evaluate that I have good research skills and better communication skills too. Because when I asked
the question to different managers of hotels in UK, I found that I easily communicate my thoughts and ideas to
others and as a result, I easily meet with my defined aim and objectives as well. I think that I particularly
choosing this topic because in this modern era, every company and sector wants to be stay competitive in the
market and for that they all mainly focus on innovation and implementing strategies that helps to leads the
business towards success. Further many of them also develop sustainability strategy in order to protect the
environment free from pollution. That is why, by researching on the particular topic will help me to learn new
strategies related to sustainability and also enhance my current knowledge as well. During research, I also
realize that I posses good knowledge and also develop critical knowledge that helps me in identification
between good and bad. Therefore, the entire research build my confidence and boost my energy in order to
take further research in more creative way as well.
