REFLECTION
PART 1
From the study of simulation I have learned that team work is critical for organization.
Working in a team means more requirement of effective skills such as collaboration, patience
skills, time management to achieve a common objectives and goals. In my opinion effective team
working across the companies boundaries, are becoming very challenging for organization.
During the simulation me and my team were working effectively together for the completion of
project. To work in team effective collaboration and communication is needed as without it team
cannot work effectively on task. While working together we understand each other weaknesses
and strengths and make sure that we are respecting it. I think group work requires more time and
energy as it takes time for the coordination, arranging meeting on regular basis. The major
challenges is : Without the approval of peer support, teams can't make important decisions the
consent of others is taken into consideration. I think every member in the team has different
opinion and point of view so to agree on each and every opinion, communication and effective
coordination is necessary. If one of the team members is not able to build trust and mutual
respect then team won't be able to complete simulation. Also, during simulation team may face
issues such as personality clashes. Handling personality clashes would be very critical for team
members, sometimes people can blame each other for the failure of team task. I have also learned
that changing personalities can be very challenging so it is essential for teams to avoid such
actions at workplace. However, I believe that people working in team together can cooperate
easily and better way and it helped me improve my problem solving skills.
2. The concept of personal resilience
The major concept of personal resilience is all about actions, behaviours and thoughts
that can promote mental health of people and personal wellbeing. In order to develop the
personal stress and mental state they can use the support of personal resilience. With the help of
personal resilience, people can easily build their self-confidence which help them to maintain
perspective to achieve goals which was set by them.
I have learned that with the help of understanding the personal resilience concept, it helps
people in such a way that they can learn from their failure, errors they make and mistakes. By
having personal resilience, people can improve their strength which is required to process and
