The current study places importance upon the use of innovation and creativity within
an organization. The current study places much importance upon the generation of an
innovative business idea by using brainstorming activities. The current focuses upon the
development of an innovative and clean energy device within an organization. For the current
study, the Australia based company Jasol chemical products have been taken into
consideration. The chemical factory has been contributing to the production of huge number
of carbon and soot particles within the environment. Therefore, the organization had been
shifting towards using more energy efficient technology, as a part of their corporate social
responsibility. However, a number of limitations are experienced in this regards such as the
lack of effective finances along with the lack of sufficient amount of expertise within the
employees. Therefore, the solutions to some of these problems have been discussed in more
detail within the assignment.

business houses nowadays to reduce the rate of carbon emissions. In the current assignment,
an Australia based chemical company Jasol Chemical Products (JCP) have been taken into
consideration. It is based in the Adelaide region of South Australia and is responsible for the
manufacture of cleaning products and disinfectants. During the synthesis of the products by
the organization a high amount of carbon or soot particles are released into the environment.
The excessive carbon emissions can endanger the ecosystem such as polluting nearby water
bodies along with resulting in respiratory distresses in the local and surrounding residents.
In order to control the growing menace of pollution and also as a part of their
corporate social responsibility the JCP has stressed upon the development and
implementation of green energy technology solutions. One of the major shifts in this regard
was implementing solar power machines and devices, which can reduce the dependency upon
non-renewable sources of energy such as coal and petroleum. The company planned to
install higher numbers of solar panels within the factory units which will help in harvesting
the natural sources of energy. The solar panels helps in transferring the thermal energy into
chemical energy through solar powered batteries which could be used in running the small
machineries in the factories.
The implementation of the idea can provide a number of benefits to the business unit.
It can make the factory unit self sufficient by reducing their dependency upon the external
manufacturers and distributors. This could help the JCP group to reduce the cost of
production by 11% (Robertson, 2018).
