EXECUTIVE SUMMARYIn the present scenario, education market of USA is growing with a very good pace and ithas provided business with adequate opportunities for development. The concept of learningcentres for kids has become very popular in last few years. These centres provide daycare tochildren and offer them with overall development. Along with learning, they also offer breakfastand lunch to children. USA is considered as one of the most development economy in the worldand it has witnessed that political stable environment. Along with this, the government in countryalso supports growth and development of the entire education sector. Michigan is one of the popular cities of USA and there are some learning centresoperating in it. It can be stated that as both parents are working, they prefer their child to enrolinto learning centres so that their care can be take of and they can be provided with appropriatelearning as required by their age. The present business plan is related to opening a learningcentre for children below one to eight years of age. The rationale behind opening this centres inMichigan USA is that at present there are very less number of learning centre and they arecharging very high prices for their services. Along with this, they do not focus on the concept ofproviding learning with electronic media. Therefore, the business is going to focus on abovestated two areas which are e-learning and low prices. It is going to open with the name ofCurious kids and its target will be children between age one to eight years. Marketing ofproposed business will be carried out with the help of online and offline channels of marketing. 3

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION 1.1 OverviewUnited Sates of America is often termed as America or United States (US) in short and itis located on the north of tropic of cancer. More specifically it is on North American continentand its broader consist of nations such as Mexico and Canada. The country has land area of9,166,601 square kilometre and its popular recorded in year 2014 was 318,892,103. In terms ofliteracy rate, it can be expressed that the country has 90% literacy rate in males and in femalesthe rate in females is 82.7% in the year 2013. The economy of USA is considered as the largesteconomy in the world and in terms of GDP also the nation is at 1st rank all across the world.Furthermore, real state, renting and leasing is the major contributor in economic development ofthe country as it is contributes about 13% of the total GDP. Majority of revenue is also generatedfrom industries such as health, information technology, finance, energy and logistics. In thepresent scenario, the country is facing issues such as drugs, terrorist attacks and educationsystem. All these problems has resulted in creating various kind of obstacles in overall growthand development of USA. On the other side of this, the stable and effective government in the country can betermed as the biggest positive side of the country. The government has always taken care of thefact that the economic and political rights of citizens in the country are protected in the bestpossible manner. Along with this, it has always laid emphasis on providing education to each andevery citizen of the country. The healthcare services of USA are considered as the best in theworld and this is because government has always taken corrective measures to improve publichealth. It can be stated that doing business is not an easy task in USA as the competition in thecountry is very high. Intense degree of competition results in imposing several barriers in growthand success of a business enterprise. However, it can be argued that adequate support has beenprovided by government to new businesses. The support is generally given in the form of loansand lowering down the rates of taxes during initial years so that businesses can establishedthemselves easily. In the present scenario, the education service market of USA is growing witha very good pace as there are multiple opportunities available for businesses. In recent years,there are many start-ups opened in the country which are trying really hard to fill the gapbetween demand and supply of education in USA. 7

1.2 Rationale of the business concept The rationale behind carrying out this business plan is to provide learning and knowledgeto children between 1 to 7 years. The unique concept of this is that more emphasis on providing elearning to all children. The concept will be based on providing learning with playing tostudents with an objective to develop their brain. On the other hand, the business will help childto become socially responsible and use their excessive energy in some useful form. The learningcentre will also focus on making children capable enough to take risk without having fear ofgetting failed. 1.3 Business location Michigan is a state located in Midwestern region of USA and it is surrounded by fourlakes.
